I walked to the Organisation's headquarters, the place that I had gone to when I had first arrived in this world, not even a year ago. I didn't have a car because, frankly, I was still having difficulty with the laws and other intricacies of this realm. Even those native to this world had trouble learning to drive.

I went through the pedestrian entrance, which was a 'broken' bathroom in the fancy restaurant in the same block as the parking garage. Once you went in, you looked into the mirror over the sink, which recognized your face and the panel containing the mirror and sink slides back, revealing an elevator.

I took the elevator down to the Spymaster's office. She had an entire floor to herself, though she had seen the space as a waste and had filled it with cubicles for those under her. I walked in, changing from my human guise as I did. I had missed my ample breasts, spaded tail, black locks and short horns.

My usual human outfit was, of course, a beautiful woman. I made myself shorter, an entire foot shorter at 5'7. I didn't want to stand out too much. I had glossy wavy mouse brown hair and brown eyes, and size 34C boobs. Totally average. Today I was wearing a frilly skirt and a sleeveless turtleneck.

Madame, as we called our Spymaster, looked at my attire disapprovingly as I entered. She, of course, wore a two piece suit at work. Madame, I should point out, is a fairy. Fairies look a lot like elves, which look a lot like humans, but all manage to look sufficiently different. Elves are taller and more slender than most humans, with long, dainty fingers and and graceful necks. Their faces have a decidedly 'elfin' look to them that one cannot quite pin down to any one set of features. They also have long, pointy ears.

Fairies have the same build as elves, except usually pretty short, even for a human. They tend to come off as more small and petite than short and skinny, though both are acceptable. Fairy ears are a lot shorter than an elf's, and closer to the head. But still pointy. Fairies also have hair and skin colors that are unnatural on mammals, but would be normal on birds, fish and reptiles. They also have wings. Fairies have butterfly or moth-like wings in shape, though they are obviously not butterfly wings. Sprites, their darker (both literally and figuratively) cousins, have dragonfly-like wings.

Madame had skin a light lavender, and hair as white as alabaster. Her eyes were a piercing orange. But despite her outlandish appearance, she looked right at home in her pencil straight skirt and jacket. Her button up shirt underneath looked like it had never seen a wrinkle in its life.

"Have you found anything?" Madame asked sternly. I was an agent, particularly a Stealth and Surveillance agent, though it was more of an up close and personal job, establishing contact and following leads. I had finished my last job a couple of weeks a go and have been sniffing around for anything suspicious lately.

"Yes. Hondo Josuke, a tengu, has come into money lately, and his explanations - bragging, you might call it - didn't seem right. Dien the demon may be in association with him, since he distracted me before I could confirm the suspicion with Hondo, but it may have been coincidence. I will be looking for him when approaching Hondo again nonetheless."

She nodded. "And when was this? Did you try to find him?"

"Er, three days ago. I had started to look for him, but-"

"Three days ago!" she exploded. "Let me guess, you started looking for him, but you found someone worth a shag and you danced in the sack with him instead, is that right? Sin, I know that you're a succubus, but seriously! This is your job! I know that in Hell, you had no responsibility, no rules, no job other than to try to steal men's souls through sex. We've given you time to acquaint yourself with our world and to learn to do this job. We've been lenient with you. But if you were not so good at retrieving information and establishing contacts, we would have fired you a long time ago! Your aptitude test said that you showed promise, and it didn't lie, but this job was not a 100% percent match, and I can see why. We've been lenient for far too long with you, and you've blown your last chance."
