"Dont ever mistake my silence for ignorance, my calmness for acceptance, or my kindness for weakness."

I walked into gym wearing the school gym shorts and a simple grey tank top we were required to wear. I grinned when I noticed some of the students setting up a volleyball net. Volleyball is a sport I take pride in, I love the fact that the humans came up with such a brilliant idea.

"Bree!", called Chels running up to me after exiting the girls changing room.

I raised a brow questioningly but she just shrugged and continued walking with me towards the class, acting as if she wasn't yelling like a banshee a minute ago.

"Alright you lot our class is gonna be shared with the guys as well as some of the freshmen girls. I expect nothing but perfection from you lot so don't press my buttons when the rest of them arrive", she ordered.

"I wouldn't want to press her buttons even if she paid me too", grumbled Chelsea.

I snickered at that and nudged her to shut up when coach glared at us. Not long after, the gym doors opened and in came two classes. One with the senior boys who goofed about as they walked in and the other with the giggling and blushing freshmen. I rolled my eyes at the younger girls and groaned, if these girls suck at volleyball Im going to kill myself.

A couple of people in my gym class are in the senior varsity teams for volley so I know for a fact there won't be any squealing about broken nails. I just hope these girls can keep up.

"Are you taking this class?" Asked Chelsea.

"I don't know. It depends what coach says," I said with a shrug.

I studied the girls when they sat down on the bleachers. I paid no attention to the guys, even when they called my name and shouted out wolf whistles.

"Alright you lot, today our session is all about volleyball. I want you to make two groups of six in each class. Senior girls and juniors will be mixed but you boys can make your own team of six within your class. Bree here will assign the captains for each group and..."

"Why does she get to choose", sneered a random blonde.

Judging by the way she talked to me I'm betting that she's a fresh men and doesn't know of me yet, how lovely (note the sarcasm).

Every senior knows I excel at volleyball and not once has one complained. Especially one of a she-wolf. Before coach could reply I stepped forward.

"Im sorry, who are you?", I asked in the most polite voice I could muster.

"Claire Mathews, future head cheerleader", she said in a poshy voice with her chin held high.

I snorted at her wanting to be a cheerleader while Chelsea narrowed her gaze at the girl.

"Whatever you say Cassie".

"Its Claire!" She snapped.

"You act like I care", I said with a shrug as she glared at me.
