After finding out Percy was Cassandra's little brother, it all made sense. Why she and Percy looked so much like each other, how she could breath underwater and manipulate water.

But the question that was nagging her was, 'didn't Gaia and Poseidon hate each other?' Then she thought of Antaeus, whom Percy had fought in the Labyrinth. But Cassandra wasn't a monster. She was on the gods' side. Was she?

"Are you thinking about what side I'm on?"

"Yeah." Annabeth said quietly, ashamed to be thinking that.

She's Percy's sister. Then again, Antaeus is his brother, but still.

"Sorry, I hate intruding. Don't worry, I don't trust Gaia after what she did to me." Her voice broke.

"Your mother, right?"

She wished she didn't say that because Kassandra's eyes flashed with anger and turned black.

"She's not my mother!" she spat.

"Okay, technically she is, but I don't consider that, bitch to be."

"Why not?"

"You think I want to go to, what do you mortals call it?, Take Your Parent to School Day?, and say 'Hey my mom the freakin' earth goddess wants to destroy all of Western Civilization as we know it when she wakes up. I want to be just like her!' "Did I mention she's", Kaitlyn made the cuckoo sign, " um, of her rocker?"

Annabeth stifled a laugh. Thunder boomed.

"Geez, Sky Dude, you don't like her either!"

The thunder rumbled again, but it was more like a rumbling laugh instead of an "I-will-fry-you- if-you-say-one-more-word" thunder.

"Anyways, I should probably get some sleep, it's getting late. And I could help you if you want with the Mark?"

Annabeth laughed. Those cute green eyes were too hard to resist. It wasn't hard to imagine the Lord of the Sky arguing with Cassandra. She would have won the argument in two-and-a-half seconds.

"Ok"

Cassandra squealed. "Yay! I promise not to break anything." Annabeth smiled. Cassandra was just like Tyson. For a immortal, she acted just like a little kid.

"'Night Annabeth."

Kassandra dove of the ship. Annabeth ran to the edge. There was a faint splash and a tiny trail of bubbles.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine. Probably."

"I'm worried about her. She seems so-"

"Free spirited?" Jason finished her thought.

"Exactly." Percy scowled. He wasn't used to seeing Annabeth and Jason get along so well.

"We should all get some sleep. I'll take first watch."

"Thanks, Perce."

"Kay, Pipes." Piper scowled. "Only Jason calls me that."

"And Commander Leo."

"Stay out of this!"

"Okay, Beauty Queen."

"And only Annabeth calls me that."

"Touche. " Piper grinned.
