Build your own
A few months now had passed and they postboned their decision if they want to build their own house. Emily was a little bit passive about it because it cost so much.
But eventually Hotch, JJ and Garcua convinced her in their own ways.
Today they had an appointment with some sort of manager to help them build their house and find the perfect location.
"Marc Forster." their manager answered the phone. "Hello Marc, It's Aaron. Can we reschedule?" They knew each other back from their time in Law school. Marc already knew that they got a case and they told him that on the beginning and he was alright with that. "Sure."
"Emily ask if you want to come for dinner once?" Hotch asked his long time friend. When they had an evening at home they would gladly spent it with him planning.
"Sure. Just sent me date and time and I'll come." He replied. They hadn't seen each other in quite some time.
"Bring Alice and the kids." Hotch said. Marc was married to Alice for almost ten years now. They had two kids. David is seven now and Laura will be 5 in two months.
"Sure will." And after goodbyes were said he borded the plane. Emily already sat with JJ.
Case in Chicago. Three abducted girls in the age of twelve. They had to be fast. Their time frame was closing rapidly.
Around two hours later they landed in Chicago. Chicago PD Intelligence unit waiting there.
"Agent Hotchner?" A woman in her early thirties asked. There was only one other waiting there and he seemed to be close to the same age as the woman.
"That's me." He replied while he stepped a step forward and stopped stretching out his hand to greet the woman.
"Welcome to Chicago. I am Det. Erin Lindsay, this is my partner Det. Jay Halstead." She introduced herself and her partner who stepped beside her and shook Hotchs hand.
"Thank you Det. Lindsay. This is SA Derek Morgan, SA David Rossi, SA Spencer Reid and SA Emily Prentiss, as well as our Media Liason Jennifer Jareau." Hotch introduced his Team. Everyone quickly shook hands and off they were.
"You'll meet the rest at the district. Where would you like to go first?" Erin asked before they sat in the SVUs.
"Is it possible to start with the family? But we would need an update from your side first." Hotch said. They already talked about the case on the plane. But a lot could've happened in the time.
"Okay. Jay, you'll drive to Megan Darcos house first. I'll bring them to Jessica Flinns house. Give them an update and call me when you are finished." She kindly demanded. He accepted the tasks with a "Finally you let me drive!" she chuckled and shook her head. Everyone besides Hotch chuckled or smiled.
They drove off and the update started.
"Megan Darco, 12 years old. Never made it home from school..." Erin said.
"...research and a quick talk with the teacher told us that she was quite popular and hadn't had any..." Jay told them.
"Enemies..." Erin and Jay filled them in. Almost with the same words.
A day later
"Chicago PD. Hands up and slowly step away!" Erin growled as she and Jay as well as the team of Hotchners unit stormed the house.
He slowly backed his hands up. With "Never" he spinned around, his hands meanwhile going to his waist to get out his gun. He drawned his gun, but before he could even shoot shots were ringing through the living room. Everyone thought it was feom their own guns. But before going down he shoot Erin. In her kevlar vest, nevertheless it seriously hurt. It might not have been the first time but everytime she had to fight for the breath that was stuck. There will be a bruise forming. Aaron Hotchner was bend over the dead body of Michael Jonson to check his not existent pulse. Meanwhile Erin was lying on the ground and you could hear "ERIN!" and in an instant he was kneeling beside her, pinning her down so she wouldn't get up.
They freed the three girls. Bruised and beaten but luckily still alive.
They filled out their reports for Chicago Pd and a mere hours they were heading home.
