Chapter five: Humans again

Well, except Keiji. All rights for the character of Keiji go to BrennaJaDe93 for creating Keiji. Since there would be no story without her. So yayyy. Anyway..

We went to the human academy every day and listened hard, hanging on to every one of the Sensei's words.

In the meantime I had learned a lot of names. The hyperactive, idotic blonde boy who resembled a fox was called Naruto, the annoying pink haired girl was called Sakura, the brunette boy with red fang-like marks on his cheeks was called Kiba, the raven haired depressed boy was called Sasuke, an extremely irritating blondie was called Ino, the sensei was called Iruka, and a lazy-looking boy with spiky hair in a ponytail was called... Shika.. Shika... it was hard to remember. Shika something.

(A/N: I do know his name really, don't worry)

It was interesting to hear the human names and how they differed from our own. One day I was happily flying to class when I saw Ino in the distance, so I made the stupid mistake of landing on her shoulder. She didn't notice me at first as I sat contentedly on her shoulder, but suddenly she felt my wing brush her neck and screamed. I flew off her in fright as she chased me, batting her hands about, screaming 'MOTH!! MOTH!!'

I was incredibly offended by that. I most certainly was NOT a moth. Moths were ugly creatures that were... attracted to light? I think? I didn't really care enough to do my research. The girl continued screaming profanities at me and I just screamed back at her, despite the fact that she obviously couldn't hear me.

"GO AWAY YOU STUPID IDIOT, I'M NOT A MOTH!! FREAKING HELL, STOP THAT!!" I shrieked continuously, trying to dodge out of the way of her attacks.

"Leave the poor thing alone, Ino, he hasn't done anything to harm you," a lazy voice drawled. We both stopped fighting momentarily to turn around and saw Shika... Shika... Whatever, I'll just call him Shika. "Have you little guy?" he added, smiling at me and holding out his hand. I landed on his hand and flapped my wings contentedly. I liked this kid. Unlike the annoying blondie. She could go stick her head in a toilet.

Blondie walked off in a huff as Shika took me to the Academy with him. I sat on his shoulder and hummed a little tune to myself until we reached the academy, and he took a seat next to the brunette, Kiba. Kiba always had a puppy with him who sat happily on his head; surprisingly, the puppy barely glanced at me. Usually dogs didn't like butterflies and often tried to eat us. NOT a pleasant experience.

I fluttered off Shika's shoulder and landed on the desk in front of him, listening to Iruka. Then I saw him.

"Oh no."

Steve. He was sitting on a wooden beam on the celing. I prayed he wouldn't decide to jump down and join me, but that was exactly what he did. He dived down and crash-landed on the table next to me with an audible bang. Shika jumped up from his chair in shock.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!" Kiba yelled, as his dog whined, obviously just as freaked out as his master.

"It's okay Akamaru," he comforted his dog, Akamaru.

"HAEEYY BIG K!!" Steve yelled. He thought he was incredibly cool by calling me 'Big K', even though he was much bigger than me. And wider, for that matter.

Steve was such a disaster-maker. By now all the students were looking at him with either horror, disgust or shock written on their faces, or all three. Shikamaru and Kiba had backed away, and I had been slowly edging away from him along the table.

Honestly, Steve caused a scene wherever he went.

"YAAEEEYYY IM DA STAR!!" he shrieked. I face-winged, groaning.

Things sure were eventful when Steve was around..

Sorry these chapters are so short, I just never have time to write chapters you see D: Since I have to get cracking with my other two books as well PLUS I'm in the middle of planning a new one. Another appearance from Steve the freak yay ^^ Anyway thanks for reading, please tell me what you think! ;D
