"And the bad news is, you were pregnant with twins, but one has died"
I let those words replay over and over in my head. Did I really just get the words in my head that I misscarried one of my babies ? I don't even know how it happen.
"You could have the baby taken out today, or you could come back tomorrow" she added. "I'm very sorry"
I sat there stiff as nails, not bothering too look at August or my nurse. I nodded my head standing as if I had sticks up my ass.
I slowly walked out the building. I walked across the street as cars zoomed through hunking their horns at me. I felt August hands lift me up and carry me to the car.

I really don't know how to feel. I looked over at key and she sat stiff as I pulled into McDonald's parking lot. I got us some food and drove to the house. I carried key into the house and stood her up on her feet.
Before I got a chance to say something she collapsed in my arms crying.
"Why August why ?" She sobbed soaking up my shirt.
I sat down on the sofa and rubbed her back. I let a few tears slip out my eyes as I held her in my arms with my chin pressed against her head.
"I don't know bay'beh'" I said.
I heard the doorbell ring, but I ignored it. It kept going off and I stormed to the door and swung it open.
There stood Chris, Keisha, and royalty with suit cases and bears and balloons in there hand.
"What's wrong with you nigga" Chris raised his eyebrow.
I ignored his smart comment and walked back into the living room.
"Hey key, the fuck wrong with you" Chris spoke with his expression going from happy to mad. She sat up and I sat next to her.
"The fuck you did to her" Chris snapped
"Hold the fuck up, ian do nun' to her" I snapped.
"The fuck she crying for then ?"
"Chris shut the hell up" she snapped on him. "He ain't did nun to me so you can sit yo' angry ass down and let us talk" she semi-yelled causing Minnie to yelp and run out and royalty to jump.
Chris sat down glaring at me cracking his knuckles.
"Come mere' baby'' key reached out for royalty.
Royalty ran to her with the biggest smile on her face.
I looked at key. She looked at me and started.
"I went to the doctor today" she spoke holding back tears. "I'm three months pregnant, and I was pregnant with twins, but one has died" she sobbed.
I pulled her towards me as she heavily cried.
"Damn" I heard Chris mumble.
"I'm so sorry hunny" Keisha said standing up to hug key.
Chris walked out the room and came back with the two huge bears.
"I was supposed to visit you for a surprise" Chris said "but I guess it's not much of a surprise now" he handed her the bears with teary eyes. "Im sorry too" he added.
She took the bears slightly smiling.
"Thanks" she mumbled.
We looked over at royalty.
"Does this mwean that my little cousin has died" royalty asked.
"Yes baby." Key said "but you have another one growing in my stomach. She put on a smile for royalty.
Royalty smiled.
"Otay" she said smiling looking down.
