This is the sad story of Gillian.
Many decades ago, three years ago, in fact, I had joined the flat water paddling club. There were only about four people in the club at the time, including Gillian. She, at the time , could barely even sit in a triton, an easy and stable boat! I remember she was latching onto the dock with all of her might! When the coaches would tell her to let go and trust in herself that she wouldn't fall, she would yell "ITS TOO TIPPY TO TRUST ANYONE!"
Just a couple of months ago, she was in the lead in all of her races in one of the fastest boats False Creek owns, making everyone's jaws drop! But the glory of it all must have a downfall.
Because she goes to a French immersion school, she's and the rest of her family could speak French easily. So, her parents thought that it would be a good idea to move to French Polynesia (aka Tahiti) for 5-10 months!
NOOOOOOOO! GILLIAN LEFT USSS! We'll see her again in like, at most eight months BUT STILL! K, bye
