Not even 5 minutes after opening the chat Lirah logged on.
MAGIKBABE24: Hey, where are you? I haven't seen you around all day!
SCARLETTWINGS: They expelled me, I'm not allowed to go to school anymore.
MAGIKBABE24: No way! They can't do that! That's so.. so... wingest.
That made me laugh, Lirah could always make me laugh.
SCARLETTWINGS: Parents are making me home school myself. So dumb.
MAGIKBABE24: I won't get to see you everyday :(
SCARLETTWINGS: I don't think I'm hanging around much longer. I'm gonna quit shopping and start hiding the money, then I'm outta here.
MAGIKBABE24: Sound logical... But why ya leaving? You've dealt with every-bodies crap for a long time. Why leave now?
SCARLETTWINGS: I don't know, everything has gotten worse.
Scarlett turned as she heard footsteps coming up the staircase and down the hall.
SCARLETTWINGS: Gotta go! I'll text you later Li!
She shut her laptop and pushed it to the other side of her bed and hopped up just as her door opened and her mother walked in.
"Were heading to a banquet, we'll be back around ten, Scarlett." Her mom was dressed in a navy, knee-length, tight dress. She had a pearl necklace strung around her neck, a silver pair of heels and a small silver clutch.
"Whatever," Scarlett rolls her eyes and turns away from her mom. Her mother sighs.
"Scarlett, you know we love you, why do you act like such an inconsiderate brat?"
Scarlett turns back and looks at her mother with an astonished look. "I'm not inconsiderate! I'm judged and when I'm come home I'm just ignored!" Her volume had not even phased her mother. She just back out of the door way, turned and shut the door behind her. And that was that.
