Sammy POV Salem --------------------------
Sammy's feet were barking at her. She had been working hard all day at the local coffee shop. Another dead end job. She had been thinking of moving out of this hell hole town. But never got around to it yet!
Sammy clears a table. Wipes it down. Picks up the daily newspaper that someone had been reading when she spots someone she knew on the paper!
"Kate?!"
Sammy gawks at the photo in the obituary news. Her ex mother in law from hell died! Why has no one told her Kate died?! She wonders if Lucas or Austen would be at her funeral or not.
Should Sammy bother to pay her respects to a woman who she hated?! Why not! Kate would never want her there anyway!! Sammy laughs at the thought.
She spots him in the coffee house!

He was back in town and did not bother to tell her or their son! Sammy fumed inside with anger. Lucas got a coffee then was heading out the door.
He looked pretty much the same. Stunningly handsome. Sammy made a choice right there. She was going to attend Kate's funeral.
