"Do you want to get married?"

Kusuo raises his eyebrows. He stares at Shun incredulously, like it wasn't obvious already, like Kusuo didn't just literally propose to him under the stars a while ago. Kusuo smirks, eyes glinting playfully—he has half a mind to tease Shun for being an idiot—before they turn soft, like they always do for Shun in the end. "Yes. Of course," he answers him anyway.

"No, I mean—" Shun pauses. "Everywhere."

"Everywhere?"

"Do you want to get married everywhere?" Shun completes the question, turning sideways to face him.

Before Kusuo could fully process what he meant, Shun sits up, making him sit up too. They sit face to face on the bed, legs still tangled together under the crumpled sheets.

Shun then smiles at him—rendering Kusuo unable to think for a moment—and looks him in the eyes before saying, "Baby, will you marry me everywhere?"

His eyes widen by a fraction. His heart—it's full. He wouldn't be surprised if it would actually burst right there and then. He can feel a little wetness at the corner of his eyes too. Blinking, he smiles at Shun softly, looks at him softly. "Yes. Of course."

Of ourse he would. There's no other answer.

Shun smiles so wide, his eyes turn into half-moons. He looks happy and relieved. Kusuo thinks it's ridiculous for Shun to actually be worried, even if it's just a little. Doesn't he know Kusuo would literally foresake the world for him? He would lie and beg and cheat, shut off the city lights, take him to the moon and back, carry him away from war, anything—everything, in a heartbeat, if Shun would so much as ask.

Marrying Shun everywhere? It's hardly a request at all.  Kusuo doesn't have to, Kusuo gets to. He gets to marry Kaidou Shun, the light of his life, the fire in his loins, over and over again. It's an oppurtunity, a life goal, a privelege, a reward.

He's not sure who moved first (probably him) but he found himself kissing Shun. His arms around Shun's waist tightening, beckoning him closer. They both adjust, Shun moving to straddle Kusuo, arms around his neck, all while not breaking the kiss even for a second.

Kusuo only pulls away when he feels wetness on his cheeks. Shun stares at him.

"Why are you crying?" he asks, cradling Shun's face, thumbs wiping the tears.

Shun unconsciously touches his cheek too, hand partly over Kusuo's. He chuckles and sniffles. "I'm just," he says, voice nasal, "really happy."

Of course, it's like Shun to cry over things like this. Kusuo can't blame him though, not when he completely understands how he feels.

They stare lovingly at each other for a moment before Kusuo, with his hands still cupping Shun's face, pulls him in for a soft peck. "I love you, Shun," he says sincerely, heartfelt, with so much veneration, like a prayer, against Shun's lips.

He can feel Shun's lips curve into a smile. Shun pecks his lips one more time before he rests his head on Kusuo's shoulder, lips against his neck. Kusuo wraps his arms around Shun's waist again, his face buried atop Shun's head.

"I love you so much too, Kusuo."

He takes a whiff of Shun's soft, fluffy hair, kissing it.

Yes, Kusuo thinks, he can imagine himself marrying Shun, repeatedly, everyday, for the rest of his life.
