Joy was laying in her bed..as the birds chirp and fresh breeze blow...joy know is was the begin of her summer break times of fun and love and friendship... Little she knew of the hardship and pain was to come!!!!j joy ..joy.. Her mother call time to get up dear.. We are going to grandmother house for the big supper to help your aunties... Lord her aunts was like night and day... One aunt Shirley was a quiet and shy lady who love so married men.... On the other hand her aunt Betty loves her so young men.. A big problem they always be beating on her... But I love my aunts dearly... And my mother single with two kids... Two different fathers...but my mothers does her best.... My granny raise all them girls alone working in kitchen and barrooms at nite... Love my granny..we got to granny house around ten my aunts was busy clean catfishes and washing greens mmmmm loves the good smell as I can up too the porch .. Hey aunts how are u all doing.. Girl hush and get your butt in here and helps us.. Man they was so mean at times... Huh must be on their periods... Laughing too my self.. My granny in the kitchen cooking a mess of chillins... Mmm good times before things change....we was in the yard playing and having fun when my uncle James came by my granny baby brother he made me shake with fear evey time him came by.. Be grinning a lookin at us girls like we are grown women..he took something from my cousin sue she can never get back.... I hate he lord I wish I could Kill him !!!!!! I look at him and turn my head a keep on playing.... Lord it is so pretty today blues skies and warm breeze blowing arcross my face...... Just loving summertime... My aunt Betty call my joy Lynn I need so my grease from my house get the key and run over and get tee so.i said ok aunt Betty.. So I grab her keys and ran to her house... Running with the wind blowin in my hair like a bird flying high across the sky... Get to my aunt house her door was half open and don't think about nothing cause sometimes the kids be in and out.. So I went in the kitchen to get the grease ..I smell the odor of sour liquor and smoke my uncle James hey lil joy what u doing here.. I said gettin so grease he said you always was so pretty to me come here and give your uncle so sugar... I started to back up I must had lose my balance and fell.. I try to scream but he cover me mouth with his hand.. Lord I thought please help me... All I could was close my eyes.. I remember my aunt Betty said to my mother she kept her gun under her bed so I reach under her bed .. He was busy trying to get pants off but he was too drunk..I felt the gun I point it blank in his face I close my eyes and I could hear was a loud bang and a loud thump... I ran never to look back.. I ran ran until I reach my house I took a bath and cried... Until my mother said Joy joy uncle James dead somebody kill him!!!! My mind was racing back and forward ...lord what to do my aunt Betty was on probation for a gun charge back in last Dec... I can't say I did it .Aunt Betty will go to jail!!!! I have to protect her....Lord I didn't mean to kill him ! I was so scared Oh ok I know what to say: I can say I walk in the house ans found him and I ran when I saw him dead.. Yes that's it yes... I finally said yes. momma I know .she was quiet for a min and said Joy what happen I told her I went to get the grease and found him dead!!! She said why ! Did not tell somebody.. Momma!!! I was so scared...my momma knew her kids she look deep into my eyes straight into my soul and seen the whole thing what really happen..she was silent at First... And said...Joy my baby.. that dirt bastard is finally Dead... joy baby listen to momma I have something very important to tell u!!! Did is not easy for me baby! oh God... A long time ago your uncle James rape me!!!!!!!. And I became pregnant I tryed to tell your granny but she just tune me out.. So I ran away and had the baby.. Joy momma was only 12 years old when this !!! I was hurt and lose I wanted to die but God told me no!! So a couple took me in and help me and for the baby..... Joy the baby is u honey iam so sorry ... For a moment everything in the world just stop the clock stop ticking the water stop dripping... What I killed my own father... oh God.. She is a lie that dirty stank no good man is not my Father!!!! I said Hell No!!!!! I ran so fast the wind felt like whip stinging my face...my momma call out to my her voice fading out in the wind... Where to go... Mind racing ..I finally made it to the only place where I felt safe.. A lil creek hidden from the outside world. No rapist,or worries just peace.. The water was so cool and clear u can see the bottom.. The water was so sweet like honey.. And the sand was white like diamonds... Mmmm my world a place I can be me Joy.. My Sunshine....So I lay on the beach looking up at the blue sky..trying to collect my thought but they was all mixed up in my head so I just lay and close my eyes and dream that I was in a ship sailing across this ocean... Going to the place my heart always wanted to go... Chapter 2: I found the place I was looking for a place with love, romance... My heart a place I never had look until now.. And change has took place withme a special thing a secret thing a sweet secret.... I was become a woman ! The change had took place .. Ok what now God .what to do......I Have Been Away for 2 years.... Feel like I have been gone for a Lifetime a lot has change .. My Grandmother Has pass away I am home from Boarding School for the Homegoing Service .. It is good too see my mother and Aunts and Cousins.. As I ran throught the Field the Sun bleak down on my face!!! Mmmmm I miss beening Home.. A lot has Change ... I have a new Cousin Aunt Shirley had aBaby Girl ....
