1 year and 6 months later..."Mummy! Mummy!" Olivia called for her mother as tears ran down her face.
Olivia's room was dark except for the night light that was in the far corner creating a dim effect.
Felicity was woken up by loud wailing. It only took her seconds to realise it was her daughter crying for her.
She stood up and placed a robe around her and rushed to Olivia's room. Fear and worry washed over Felicity's face.
Felicity opened her daughter's room, turning on the lights and heading straight to the white crib.
The pink room was a blur in her eyes expect for the white crib containing her daughter, who was crying and begging for her mother.
"Sweetie, sweetie mummy's here" Felicity grabbed her daughter and pulled her close to her chest. Hugging her and calming her down.
"What's wrong Olivia? Bad dream honey?" Felicity was concerned.
Olivia just looked at her mother, fear in her eyes, nodding. "B-bad ream" confirming her mother's words as she spoke hesitantly. God, her baby voice was so cute, Felicity thought to herself.
It was sometimes hard to understand Olivia but Felicity always understood her daughter, through every move and word.
As she comforted her daughter even more she felt a warm touch on her shoulder. She smiled knowing who was it was. Felicity slowly turned her head and kissed the hand that laid on her shoulder.
Olivia looked up to see who was besides her mother and was excited by the results. "Daddy" Olivia started to wiggle out of her mothers arms.
"Come here little one" His arms reached for her, until Olivia jumped on him, hugging him.
"Bruce. She needs to go back to bed. You know how she is when she doesn't get her beauty sleep" Felicity kissed her daughter's nose softly.
Olivia giggled and played around with Bruce.
"It's okay, Felicity. The little princess will sleep with us tonight.
"Yeah" Olivia cheered with happiness.
"Come on let's go" Bruce led the way, holding Olivia, with Felicity following, turning off the lights and closing the door.
Olivia's head peaked over Bruce's shoulder.
Felicity couldn't help but stare at her daughter's eyes. Every time she would stare into her eyes, she felt like she was staring into Oliver's and every time she remembered Oliver, she remembered what she had done.
Felicity feels guilt. She made the father of her child walk out, just like the way her father walked out on her as a child.
She always wished he had came back but he always disappointed her.
Just like the way she will disappoint her daughter when she finds out the truth.
As they reached the bedroom, Bruce placed Olivia on their bed.
