Chapter nineteen: Wedding

[ Harley's POV ]

The only day when I'm not pissed of hearing the sound of my alarm clock....
"We're getting married! I can't wait until sunset!!"
I shout as I get out of my bed and walk down the stairs. I enter the kitchen and open the fridge.
"Wait for me!" Joker yells from the bedroom and quickly runs into the kitchen....
"Why are you always so fast?" I giggle as he pulls me into a hug.
"I love you." I say as our lips touch. I live for these moments.... And all the others!
J makes us some breakfast and we sit down at the table.
"You excited? 'Cause I can tell I am! I don't think I can wait the whole day...."
I giggle and answer. "Of course I'm excited! But we have to wait! Everything has to be perfect!!"
After breakfast I wash myself and pull on a pale pink dress ending just above my knees.....

"What are you goin' to do?" Puddin' asks me as I come into the living room....
"I'm seeing a friend... I'll be back on time! Byee!" I give him a kiss on his cheek and walk out of the house. I get in my car and drive to the house where I haven't been in a long time.... "C'mon! Just pick it up..."
I mumble to myself as I wait for the person to pick up.... ?- "Hello?" The person picks up and I let out a happy giggle. H- "Red! It's me!!" I hear her gasp and then she almost makes me deaf....
?- "OH MY GOODNESS! HARLEY I MISSED YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!" I pull the phone a bit away from my ear and answer. H- "I know! I missed you too! I had some things goin' on the past few... Months, maybe years? Anyway! I'm heading to your place now!" I tell her the news and hear her scream from excitement!
??- "Ivy? Who are you talking to?" I can hear another voice and ask her who it is...
I- "oh! That is ma boyfriend! You should meet him!" I laugh and hang up.

*knock knock*
I knock on Ivy's door and it opens within a second! I am greeted by the smell of plants and two arms around me.... "Harley! I have to tell you soooo many things! And I have to ask you all sorts of things, too!!"
Ivy lets me in and we sit down on the sofa in her living room.
"You look really beautiful!" She says as she takes a better look at me.
"Thanks, you too!" I look at her red hair and her pale green skin... She didn't change at all....
"Are you still with, him?" She asks me and I give her a confused look. "Him? Who?"
She sighs and points at the picture on a desk. It's a picture of her, kitty, joker and me.
"Ooh! You mean Puddin'! Yes! And I had to tell you somethin'..."
I'm getting nervous because she never liked him... And still doesn't....
"Harley, what did you want to tell me?" She asks with a curious look on her face.
"Well... Here!" I give her a white envelope with black roses on it...

She looks up at me and carefully opens it, revealing the letter.
"Is this what I think it is?" She says as she holds it up. "Just read it!" I can't contain my excitement anymore and look at her with a stupid grin... "Alright..." She reads the letter and the same grin enters her face.
"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you!" She hugs me and as we pull away I look up at her nervously....
"Are you angry? 'Cause I'm still with J?" She laughs and pats me on my shoulder.
"Well... I don't like him. But if you do, I'll try..." I let out a sigh of relief and we continue with talking.
"Hey! Come down! Harley's here!" Ivy yells at her boyfriend and a familiar face comes down the stairs.

"Hey Harls! Long time no see!" We give each other a hug and sit down again.
"I can't believe it! You guys actually got together!?" I smile at the happy couple.
It's two-face... They were together a while ago but broke up... "I'm so happy for you guys! You should come to my wedding!" Ivy squeals and I do the same. "You marrying that psycho?" Harvey asks and I look at him.
"Yepp!" He smiles a bit and we chat for a while. "Hey, have you seen Kitty?" I ask them, I want her to come, too!

"Well... She's in prison...." Ivy says and I gasp. "Really? Where?"
"That's the problem... We don't know..." Harvey says and I sink down.
"But don't worry! She wanted this herself!" Ivy tries to cheer me up and that only makes the shock worse.... "She wanted to go to prison!? But! What did that man do!?" She was hopelessly in love with a rich guy.... "After she sits out her prison... They're going to live together..." Wow... And I thought this day was already crazy enough...
"Well... I'm happy for her!" Ivy and Harvey nod at me. "He visits her every day... She is in good hands!"
We chat on for a while and I go home...
