"Why are you backing away?" He asked tilting his head to the side.
"Your eyes, they’re like pure black." I said looking at them thoroughly.
"It’s because I haven’t eaten in a while, and you smell. Appetizing." He said walking a little closer to me. I gulped. He was inches away from me when we heard another voice that caused him to retract.
"CC, don't do it man. You know if you do you'll regret it." I tried to see where the voice was coming from but CC was in my way. I blinked and suddenly he wasn’t there anymore. I looked over at the man who saved me.
"Thank you." I said looking down at my feet.
"No problem." He said putting his hand out for what I’m guessing me to shake. I grabbed his hand and it was ice cold, as I suspected.
"I'm Ophelia." I said putting my hand down back at my side.
"I'm Jeremy, but I go by Jinxx."
"Well it’s nice to meet you Jinxx. But I should probably go. I have business to attend to." I said getting ready to walk away. I turned and was almost away from him when I felt him grab my shoulder.
"You smell like. No, this is all wrong." He said looking at me. I could see the gears grinding in his head as he tried to think. "Ha-ha, oh man. The guys aren't going to like this." He smiled at me. I looked at him like he was crazy. "Go, I’ll see you soon." He smiled at me.
I was left there, completely and utterly confused. I scooted down the tree and sat with my legs up to my chest. "What the f*ck just happened" I thought to myself. I need to find out answers. I stood up from the ground, dusted the dirt off of me and started walking. I walked all the way back to the guy’s house. I could see the lights on, a bunch of cars parked in the drive way. I gulped and marched towards the house. I walked with confidence. I opened the door to the house only to be mauled by Craig.
“Oh my god! Ophelia Jane Hale! You had me worried sick. The Cullens and I have been looking everywhere for you! Are you out of your god damn mind child!” He shouted at me. I stared at him for a moment before I attacked him in a hug. I hugged him tight and felt his hard chest pressed up against mine. I felt him wrap his arms around be to comfort me.
“I’m sorry Craig. I promise I didn’t mean to scare you. I was just so over whelmed I had to walk away.” I said almost in tears.
“Its okay baby, just don’t ever do that to me. You’re like a daughter to me. I can’t lose you too.” He said softly. It was true. Craig was like a father to me. Even though he only looked not even 25 he was still way older and mature than I was.
“Where’s Max?” I asked.
“He’ll be here in a little bit. How about you go in his room and rest till he and the Cullens get here.” He said leading me to the room. I walked to the bed and covered up. He said good night and turned the lights out. I laid there for a little bit with my eyes closed. I was thinking of what Craig said earlier, he said “I can’t lose you too.” My brain was trying to process everything. I think I was laying thee for about one hour. I suddenly heard the door open. I didn’t move. I just laid there with my back away from the person. I felt the bed dip in beside me and then I felt arms wrap around me. I turned over to look Max in the face. I saw his cute honey golden eyes and I swear I could have melted right there.
“I’ve missed you.” He said.
“You’ve only been gone for 5 hours.” I laughed.
“The longest 5 hours of my life.” He cracked a smile back.
“So did you hear what happened?” I asked him.
“That you were MIA (missing in action) for two hours? Yea I heard.” He said kissing me on the forehead.
“I just had to find a way to clear my mind and that seemed like the right thing to do so I did it.” I said cuddling up to his chest.
“You know you scared all of us.” He stated.
“Yea I know.” I said while trying not to yawn.
“Maybe you should go to sleep. We have a big day tomorrow.” He said. I sighed because I knew he was right.
“Goodnight Max.” I said kissing him on the nose.
“Goodnight Ohjayy.” He said while smiling.

I was standing in the middle of the woods. In a black dress that was kinda tight at the top and ruffled down. I looked ahead of me to see them coming. I smirked as a hand was placed on my shoulder.
“Are you sure you want to do this.” Max asked.
“Of course.” I said while still looking forward.
They were running closer and faster. I felt the presence of all the people that have come to love me in the past month standing behind me.
“Are you sure?” Emmett asked.
“I’m positive.” I didn’t look back. As they drew closer, I strutted forward to meet them half way.
“How dare you.” The man standing the tallest said. In an instant his hand was around my neck trying to cut off my air supplies.
“You’ll never get away with it.” The petite girl standing next to him said. I smiled at her doubt.
“Oh but honey, I already have.” I said with a wickedly grin on my face.*
My eyes snapped open. I looked around me to see that I was still in Craig’s house, and that Max was still in here with me. I took a deep breath. That dream made no since at all. I climbed over Max so I could walk to the living room. I found Monte sitting on the couch flipping through the channels.
“Where’s Craig?” I asked him.
“In the basement, he’s waiting to take you to the Cullens house.” He said while flipping to the LSU and Bama game.
“Okay thanks, and twenty bucks says LSU loses.” I said watching the screen.
“You’re on.” Monte said while shaking my hand. I smiled. I love a good bet.
