Toby's POV

Wow.

Now, I just had to tell Simon.

Rushing off the Sub, I practically sprinted to the Uber, sliding into the seat before handing the driver a 20. He didn't blink an eye at the fact I payed over 15 more than what the ride was worth.

And turn on my phone, swiping to the left before opening Twitter.

"Gonna pick a PS4 winner later tonight. RT this to enter and good luck. 🙏🏿❤️"

Tweet. (Yes, this is an actual Tweet from him)

Done. Okay, 5 minutes before I get to the house.

I looked out the window to the blurry lights of downtown slightly in the distance.

Why did I even want to tell Simon anyway?

He has way too many girls...can't I get one for a change?

I sighed, taking off my SnapBack and running a hand through my hair before placing it neatly on my head.

What was even so good about him? He cursed a lot, he was a slob, he never really did anything around the house, especially with the new one.

So what was so great about him?

Sliding my phone out of my pocket, into my hand, I go to my messages and typed out her phone number into the top bar.

"Hi. It's me again. Lunch tomorrow? I'll bring everyone" I type, and get an almost instant response.

"I'm guessing this is Toby from the Simon joke? But yes! Yes, of course! I would love that!...unless we're going to Nandos. I guess that's just JJ's option...."

"Haha, I'll make sure we go to wherever you want ;)"

"Toby I just got here, I don't know anything around in downtown."

"I'll surprise you then."

"What time?"

"3:00? Pm, of course xD"

"Alrighty. Pick me up in front of New Town Apartments."

"Got it gorgeous. See you tomorrow."

";-; Bye!"

I turn my phone off right as the driver stops, pulling over to the new house. In my opinion, it was much nicer than the previous one, even though I didn't live there.

I walk out the car, strolling to the front door before pressing the doorbell once.

"I told you, go fuck off!" JJ's voice booms through the door.

"JJ? It's me, Toby?" I scream back.

The door flings open, and he's out of breathe, and sweating, as if he had just run a marathon.

"Some crook decided to try to shove his way through our door." He murmured quietly. "I was going to call the cops, but he ran away." Walking over to the plush couches, he slumps down in one and flips on the news before surfing through the multitude of channels.

"What have you been up to, anyway?" He asks me, as I plop down on a couch to the left of him.

"Recording some football with Manny." I pause.

"You're lying." He says, but doesn't flicker his gaze towards me.

"Well, I was. But I did met this girl on the Sub, and-"

"Oh great Toby. Stop talking about your love life already. We get it." JJ growls, his gaze still not turning his attention on me.

I decide to just keep talking.

"-and, she's obsessed with us - all of us. I asked her if she wanted to go to lunch tomorrow with us, all of us. I was wondering if you were down."

That's when I got his attention.

"She's not 12?" He asks.

"Looks about 20."

"Alright, I'm in. I hope you know where to go."

"Yeah, I got it figured out. Thanks, Jeed. We'll make her day...if you have a present, it would be nice if-"

His sudden laughter caught me off.

"Yeah, I got it figured out." He imitates me. I groan, getting up, and swiftly turning around, heading upstairs to Vikks room.

I knock lightly, and a,"Come in!" Is my greeting.

I got Harry, JJ, Vikk, Josh, myself (of course), Ethan, and it was finally Simons turn. I didn't purposely make him last, but as I was walking up to his room, I realized he was one-hundred percent the most important person of this whole trip.

I lightly knock on his door, realizing I was super nervous.

"Yes?" I hear, before the door swings open slightly.

He looks like he's been working - ruffled hair, joggers, and a sidemen t-shirt.

Ugh, she would think that he so hot right now.

"So, I uh, I met this girl on the Sub coming home, and she was kinda in love with all of us...but she is literally obsessed with you...so I was wondering if you wanted to go to lunch tomorrow? Everyone is coming, you're the only one left to ask." I keep stuttering, as if this was the most important three sentences of my entire life.

He narrows his eyes.

"You know I don't want to get involved with any girls right now."

"Yeah, I know, but-"

"Toby, stop. I don't want to go." He's about to close the door when I put my foot in to stop it.

"Simon. Simon, it would make her day. She's just visiting, you'll never see her ever again."

"Toby." He's raising his voice now. "I don't want to go. End of story."

I struggle to find the right words.

"Simon." He turns around. His eyes seem to be warm, as if he wanted to go. But his entire poster was completely rigid, as if he was on edge. "Please?"

He sighs and puts his fingers on the bridge of his nose.

"Ok, I'll go. But I'm never seeing her again, got it?" He growls, before slamming the door.

"Meet me downstairs at 3 tomorrow!" I call to him before rushing down to my room, shutting the door, and going through my wardrobe to find an outfit.

I had a chance if Simon didn't want to get involved with anyone right now. This was gonna be perfect.

A smile formed on my lips.
