Toby's POV

After I punched Simon, I wanted to say I regretted it, but I really didn't.

It felt so good, but one thing was nagging my mind:

How did all those people know we were going to Jorlevic (I made this up lol) anyway? It was fancy, but not very popular.

Staring at the ceiling of my bedroom, I wondered what (Y/N) was thinking, or even where she was. She left without any trace.

Simon had feelings for her, it was so obvious. His mood changed almost completely in the limo when she went over to him.

I hadn't seen him with such a big smile and bright eyes for the longest time.

Wouldn't it be better for her to date him if she made him happy?

Probably, but there's one simple problem....

The last girlfriend I had, Trinity, Simon took. She broke up with me to be with him and about a month later, he broke her fragile heart, so guess who she can running back to?

I had a feeling that (Y/N) wouldn't do that. The way she told everyone she didn't want them bending over backwards for her made a little hope spark through me that she wouldn't have her heart broken.

Trinity was the opposite: she would always ask for pictures, kisses and hugs, and so on.

But I could feel (Y/N) was different - it seemed she actually cared who we were as people.

This is where your decision comes in.

Go down the path you chose previously.

When she yelled at us that she loved us, I had a little feeling she would be the same as Trinity, but she seemed to change as we talked. I guess it was just awkwardness, or just the fact she was nervous.

~~~
When she waved shyly, the fact she was so flustered was the cutest thing ever. I could tell she was a bit reserved, and I guess that was also a bit of reassurance.
Continue here.
Anyway, I hated that Simon did that. We were fine for a bit, a long time, but when the Trinity thing happened, I got much more frustrated with him, and we got more distant.
I guess I was just in denial that that had happened for a long time.
It could simply be an omen that we weren't meant for each other.
But that was kinda stup-
Knock. Knock. Knock.
Three solid knocks hit my door, and the sound echoed, throughout my room.
I stayed silent, before a muffled "Toby please. It's Simon." Came from behind the door.
Clutching my bed sheets I still didn't respond.
"She's not going to come back, Toby. Why are you so oblivious to that fact?" He murmured, though I could still hear him very clearly.
"Yeah, and it's all your fault." I growled back at him, but still not moving from my position in the bed.
"You punched me!" He groaned, annoyed. There was a pause. "We need to go find her." He said.
"So you can break her heart?" I snarled back furiously. I was standing up now, and making my way towards the door.
"If you don't want to help me, I'll go alone." He stated flatly.
"I'm not gonna hel-"
So let's be friends, with benefits, we can chill...and Netflix
My phone was going off.
Without saying a word I walked over to the phone, where (Y/N)'s number was on screen.
Accept, or Deny Toby?
Grabbing the phone, I held it in my hand, but went over to the door to let Simon in before accepting the call.
Putting it on speaker so Simon and I could hear, and putting a finger to my lip, signaling for him to be silent I felt my hands start to get clammy. Then, I accepted the call.
(Y\N)'s POV
"Toby?" You try not to put any emotion in your words, but it was seemingly impossible.
"Yes?" He responded.
"I'm scared." You sigh. "I don't know what to do anymore."
The duvet covers you, as you look up to the white ceiling, glossy eyed.
"What...I..." Toby starts to speak, but doesn't finish.
"I don't know if I want to make you happy, or help Simon." You sharply cut in. The words come out much harsher than you intended.
"You, uh...you don't have to do anything" he breathes into the phone, as if he was out of breath with worry.
"But...Toby I have the choice to make either of you happy. And I've thought about it, but...I don't know how to choose. So can you choose for me?/give me more time to decide?"
He doesn't respond.
"I'll hopefully see you tomorrow. Have your answer/I'll have my answer ready."
"See you tomorrow. Goodbye..."
And the line goes dead.
