The Concessions

~Chapter 2~

:RE-CAP:

"Well it's nice to meet ya!" Valerie said. "Either you're getting in now or I will be late Scar." She said, even though I'm not sure what she would be late to. I think she only said that so Ni- I was interrupted from my thoughts by Niall.

"I can take her!" Niall quickly responded back. Bloody hell.

:Scarlet's POV:

"No, no. It's fine really. You've done enough for me tonight." As I said that I turned around and Valerie's car was no longer there. The bitch drove off. I guess I'm walking home because there's no way I am letting Niall take me home. He's sweet and all, but he has done enough for me today. Not to mention I barely know the boy.

"I'm driving you home. No buts about it. Besides Valerie already drove off." Right when he said that it started to rain. Shit. Shit. Shit. "And it's raining so come on and I'll drive you home." He said as he started dragging me towards his car. Hey, think of the bright side I get to sit in a car with a gorgeous person. "Well thank you. I think you're pretty gorgeous yourself." Niall said. Wait?

"Shit. Did I say that out loud?" I asked him. It was obvious that I had though because he can't read minds. At least I don't think he can. As he nodded his head I could feel my cheeks turning a bright red. Much like a tomato. "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to say that out loud." And I'm blushing even more, if it's even possible. I'm still confused on why he isn't stuttering anymore.

"Aww you're cute when you blush." He said to me as he squeezed my cheeks. He went from a shy and stuttering guy, to one complimenting me. He's confusing me so much. I hadn't even noticed we were beside a car until he was opening the door for me. "M'lady" And cue the red cheeks, again.

"Thanks." I quietly whispered as I sat down in his passenger seat. He went around to his side of the car and got in.

"Alright. So where do you live?" He asked me while he was starting the car and turning on the heat.

"I live on Waters Street, beside Augustus road." I told him as he nodded. "Do you know where that is?" Again he nodded keeping his eyes on the road. "I have a question." I said

"Alright, then ask me." He said while side glancing towards me while we waited at a light.

"When I started talking to you at the concessions you stuttered and were shy. Why did you? And why don't you now?" I asked him.

He chuckled slightly before answering me, "Well, when I first so you I thought, 'Wow, she's beautiful' and I guess I just got nervous. To be honest I didn't know I was stuttering. For your second question, I don't really know. I guess I'm just comfortable around you now. Even though we've only known each other for like an hour I feel like I could tell you anything. I know that sounds cheesy and all but it's true. Enough with that. Wanna play 21 questions?" Well I didn't expect that answer. I just expected him to say that he stutters with everyone the first time he meets them.

"Sure." I said to him. "You start"

"I'm gonna start out simple. What's your favorite color?" He said with a big smile.

"Purple." I said. "Yours?"

"Green." And it continued on like this until I saw we were on my street. "What house number?" He asks.

"6654" I replied back. When we arrived my parent's car wasn't in the drive-way. I wonder why. "Thanks for driving me home and for paying for my food at the movies. I will pay you back though." I said to him as I was getting out of his car.

"No problem, but no you won't." He said but I knew I would eventually pay him back somehow. As I was walking up to my door Niall screamed after me. "WAIT!" So I quickly turned around. "I never got your number." He said. We exchanged phones and put our numbers in them. We handed our phones back and said goodbye.

I walked inside my house and went upstairs to take a shower. I turned on the water and took off my clothes. Once I stepped into the shower, I started realizing what had happened. Austin and I actually broke up. AUSTIN AND I BROKE UP! Well I'm gonna get shit tomorrow at school. I couldn't give any less of a fuck even if I tried. After about 15 minutes I got out of the shower, immediately drying off and putting on my pajamas. I got in my warm bed and texted my mom to let her know I was home and going to bed. I plugged my phone up and went to bed.

NEXTDAY

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

What the fuck is that noise? I looked over to see my phone's alarm going off. UGH! I forgot I had school today. I shut my alarm off and got up to get dressed. I put on some jeans and a sweat shirt and natural makeup. This is what I did every Monday morning because I really wasn't a morning person at all and it seemed that on Mondays it was worse. I went down stairs to the kitchen and poured some cereal. My mom came down and gave me a kiss on the cheek and left for work. I finished my cereal and put it in the sink. Putting on my UGGS and getting my keys I left for school.

Valerie and Brooke were waiting outside the school for me as usual. They always were irritated with me because I was usually here about 5 minutes before the bell rang. It gave me just enough time to get to my locker, get my books and get to my first period class.

As I walked up to my locker I saw Austin and Chasity, the school's slut, sucking eachother's faces off right in front of my locker. I pushed them away and got my P.E clothes out, because I just HAD to have P.E on Monday morning, first period. Chasity ,being the bitch she is, stuck her foot in front of me and tripped me, making me face plant in front of everyone. Everyone that was in the hallway laughed except for Valerie and Brooke who looked like they were about to kill Chasity. I got up and decided to interrupt their little make out session. "Maybe try paying more attention to where your foot goes, instead of sucking every guys face off that you see." I said with confidence.

"Maybe try looking where you're going before walking." She retorted

"Maybe try worrying about your grades instead of worrying about what STD you have this time." I replied with a smirk and walked away to my first period class. When I got to the girl's locker room I changed into my clothes and went to the gym. When I got in there, there were only a couple people there including one of my other good friends ,Paige. I sat next to her and we talked until everyone was in the gym. After class I changed clothes and got my second, third and fourth period books, because all those classes were on the opposite side of my locker.

My fourth period, Science, is one of my favorite classes. Not only am I good at it but I love my teacher, Mrs.Armstrong. When I got there everyone was in their seats, There was only one seat left which was in the back next to Austin. Well shit.
