Aron's body was stiff.
Don't move,
Don't breath,
Don't think,
Be careful.
He was deep in the forest about a mile southwest from the path, crouching behind a thorn bush.
Watching, observing, contemplating the farm he had his eyes on for a week now, which was a long time if you think about it, for no other thieve to poach it by now.
Something was off, not even heavily guarded?
Abandoned maybe? No, theres crops, is there hounds? A nonestic maybe.
Keeping his eyes locked on the man threw the window sleeping, he carefully viewed his surroundings. It wasn't much a farm, just an old house made from scrap metal, barely stable. The crops were mostly corn and tomato, the cheapest crop around the area. The farm was nothing special, but it had food, and was in the forest outside of Consora, which made it, to a thieve, a very decent resource.
He's gotta be either confident, or just stupid setting up a farm so close to the city. Has to be a nonestic.Aron slowly creeped up to the gate, jumping over, looking out for guard dogs and traps. He slowly made his way up to the corn crops, but made a loud sound hitting his foot on a critter trap. Then in seconds, a door jerked open slamming onto the wall behind it.
Aron ducked behind the corn crops but in his vision he saw it, a man holding a shotgun about in his mid 30's. His beard was in a braid, and that hair, frizzy black in a low pony tail.
"Come out poacher, I promise I wont shootcha' if ya' don't try to run"
I know what this is, thats what this farm is, to lure in the thieves and abduct them for money, damn black marketers"
Aron put up his hands, slowly walking up to the man.
"Atta' boy" the man stood tall as he lured his shotgun, pointing it to Aron's chest . Swiftly, Aron ducked, and pulled out his hunting knife, slicing the mans leg in one swift clean cut. The man yelled out in pain, dropping the shotgun. Fool, a damn fool.Aron took the chance and picked up the shotgun, rotating it to the back, and hit the man in the head, knocking him out.
"Must be his first time luring in a thieve" Aron spoke to himself.
And so he tied up the mans hands, put him in the house, and began to ravage the farm of its food. And he set off for home.
Back in his beloved city, Aron climbed threw windows, ran threw the broken open doors of buildings, and sprinted threw the gaps threw walls to get home, only a fool would walk through the streets.
Halfway home, something caught his eye, a girl was outside, could of been a purger but it was morning and she was of young age, a little younger than Aron looking.
He got a closer look.
She had to be the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.Does anyone else see her? Shes gonna get herself killed. A nonestic maybe?
Aron wanted to approach her, but it was to risky, and so he just watched her. She was just walking on the sidewalk, so on the building he was on he found the stairs and inched down to the 1st floor. Threw the tinted windows he kept his eye on her, she was just walking, looking around.
Whats with this girl?

Laura was walking who knows wheres, there wasn't a single person in sight and God himself knew how lost she was.
Is it completely abandoned here?
Laura just kept her focus, maybe she could find a pay phone, she didn't know any numbers but maybe an operator? She turned a corner where a group of people were, before she could open her mouth she realized these people, they were the most threatening thing she'd ever seen, they were wearing animal masks, covered in scars and cuts, some recent. They all had there own unique weapon of some kind.
Are these murderers? A gang? Both, has to be.
Laura wanted to turn and run but they already noticed her, and they were looking right at her.
