CHAPTER 16 - MEETING THE SISTER

My eyes fluttered open and I looked around.
I checked the time 1:15 pm.
Guess I was t going school then (it was cross country anyway).
Derek was gone.
I sighed grabbing some water from my desk top when my hand came in contact with a piece of paper.

My face crumpled with confusion as I read it.

I chuckled at his signature, it was like a Disney princess one.

I picked up my phone willing to tell him this insult.

D: he-
J- derek sleeping beauty's signature is more manly then yours like seriously who taught it you? The fairies!
D: I don't know who you are but I like you
J:.......who are you?
D: Cora hale. You?
J: Jessica stilinski
D: so your the girl my brother ditched me for last night...
J: yeah s-
D: (Cora why do you have my phone!) Derek it's your girl friend!
I chuckled at this
J: I'm not his-
D: --werewolf growling-- hello?
J; this is Derek hale right?
D: you are right
J: ok then....derek sleeping beauty's signature is more manly then yours like seriously who taught it you? The fairies!
D: did you literally just call me to say that
J; yes I did
D: you've just woken up haven't you!
J: (yawns) maybe.....
D: (tell her to come here!) no
D: sorry it's my sister (Cora shut up!)
J: omg!
D: what?
J: you two are literally me and stiles when we argue
D: that it not tr--crashing sound-- it's Cora! Be at ours in 1 hour bye!!!---more crashing--
D: what did she say?
J: see you in an hour!

I showered and did plain makeup: mascara, concealer, eye liner, burgeonde lipstick.

I was now stood in front of my wardrobe deciding on what to ware.
Jumper? No
Shorts and leggings? No
Crop top and shorts.....yes!

I settled for a white and black adidas crop top with some Kaki shorts.
I kept my hair messy and went over.

'Hello?' I asked walking in and the first thing I saw was a girl about my age slumped in the couch looking pissed with Derek opposite her with the same facial expression.
'What happened?' I groaned
'Nothing!' Derek snapped and i raised an eyebrow
'Fine. Don't tell.' I put my hands up and say next to Cora who smiled
'I'm sorry.' I said and her eyebrows furrowed

'For what?' She asked
'For being related to that.' I pointed to Derek and she laughed while he gave me a are-you-serious look, ' I mean I bet you could never have a boyfriend.' I said and she nodded
'Can you be my new best friend?' She asked and I giggled
'Of course!' I yelled and I heard Derek trying to muffle a chuckle
'What!' I asked standing up and he shook his head.
'Nothing' he said and I have him a I-know-what-you-are-up-too look.
'I can't even hear your heart beat and I know your lying.' I Said crossings my arms across my chest.
' it's Nothing really.' He said smiling San the an alarm went off.

'What's that?' Cora asked
'Trouble.' Derek answered and a group of people were at the door.
My only guess was that they were the alpha pack.
Derek as Cora transformed and a bald man and woman in need of a serious pedicure came at them.

I slowly backed up and then the make bald one began walking up to me.
'Hey baby, your at the wrong place wrong time.' He muttered in a creepy way and I felt my back hit a wall.
'Hey ass hole fight someone your own age.' I sassed back and he chucked lowly getting one of his clawed fingered and tracing it along my cheek making me grit my cheek.
'Get off her!' I heard Derek growl and then I saw the woman stab Derek with a pole.

I immediately scream, one in shock and two in pain because it felt like I had been stabbed too.
'Derek!' Cora yelled trying to get to him but by the look Kali gave her there was no use of her moving from where she was stood.

I tried to run to Derek but the man pinned me to the wall- correction slammed me only the wall.
'Poor weak human.' He muttered in my ear and I just looked at Derek.

'J-.j....Jess.....Jessie.' Derek chocked out coughing blood.
That's not a good sign.
'Please down hurt him!' I begged and the woman smirked twisting the pole and Derek yelled out in pain spitting out more blood.

I screamed in pain.

'Get off her! Derek yelled and I could se Cora struggling in her mind
If she moves she dies.
If she tries to help she dies.

'Where should I claw her Derek?' The man asked moving the hair from my neck and letting his claws scratch the surface.
I winced and Derek's face twinsets with anger.
'You don't have to hurt hurt!' He yelled then coughing some more blood and I took a shaky breath.
'Her arm?' He then asked scratching my arm and I tried to pull it away but with his werewolf strength he held my arm there scratching it.
'Stop it!' Cora yelled and I kept a straight face
'What about her side like I did your pretty girlfriend?' He asked and Derek growled loudly.

Who was the pretty girlfriend?

'Don't.' He begged.
I had never saw Derek beg!
'Derek just relax its ok.' I tried to calm him but failed.

'Everybody done? 'Cause just listening to that was exhausting.' A blind man then came in.
Deucalion.
'You wanna chat?' Derek spluttered out
'Let's chat.' Deucalion smiled using his suck to get to Derek where he then proceeded to touch his face.

'Your right Kali. He does look like his mother.' Ooh that must of hurt Derek.
'Hey!' I got the idiots attention
'Don't chats usually contain tea and coffee not implaled people!' I yelled and He walked towards me touching my face.

'Human.' He muttered and then he turned to Kali.
What was he doing?
'Twin at the pole.' He ordered and she did making both me and Derek scream.
He smirked looking from me to Derek.
'Mates.' He muttered again and my face furrowed in confusion.

Let-let her go!' Derek said
'Only after our chat. Let Ennis have some fun.' Deucalion said like I was a flipping dog.

'What do you want? You want to kill me?' Derek asked and I fenced
'You really think I'm that boring? Don't throw me in with sociopaths like your Uncle. I'm a man with far more vision than simple murder. In fact I'm here to show you just how much vision a blind man see.' He said showing his alpha eyes that seriously scared me to death.

'You're killing him!' Cora yelled as Derek spat out down more blood.
Not yet, little sister. But I could.' The bitch said
'Who knows if it's five minutes or five hours before it's too late to take this thing out? But just to be on the safe side, Duke, you might want to get to the point.' She said
'Now you see the one problem with being in an Alpha pack. Everybody wants to make the decisions. Me? I'm more about discovering new talents Like you.' Duke explained and me and Derek simutainiously rolled our eyes.
'Not interested.' Derek grumbled
'But you haven't even heard my pitch.' Duke said as if un fair.
'You want me to Kill my own pack.' Derek stated
No. I want you to kill one of them. Do that, and I won't have to ask you to kill the others. You'll do it on your own.' Duke said and the thought of Derek killing ran shivers through my spine
'I did it. Ennis did. Kali did. Tell him what it's like, Kali, to kill one of your own.' Duke asked
'Mm Liberating.' She sickly smirked and Ennis began to stroke his claws down my neck not cutting it.
'Seriously duke she's a beauty.' Ennis said and Derek growled
'You are.' He whispered his breath on my neck and I shifted uncomfortably.

'Listen to me, Derek. Do you really want to stay beholden to a couple of maladjusted teenagers bound to become a liability? And believe me, they will become a liability.
In fact I have a feeling one of them is getting himself into trouble right now....' Duke said and I knew isaac was doing something...
