(11) 1 Year Later (FINALE OF BOOK 1)

It's been a year since that shooting happened. I haven't talked to anyone since the day I came out of the hospital. Pentatonix, Tiffy, Red, Jade, Gabi, Maddie, Michelle, Logan... Nobody. Not even Joey, Daniel or Sawyer. Oh wait, I can't contact them no matter how hard I try. Ever since I got sent to Britain.

FLASHBACK 1 YEAR AGO

"Joey!?" I run into my room to see my suitcase from the orphanage and a note.

'Cassaddee,

I am so sorry love. I want what's best for you. Ever since I came into your life everything has been horrible for you. I'm sending you to Dan and Phil who have agreed to adopt you from me so that way you're safe. I'm really sorry sweetie, it's for what's best.

I sink to my knees and cry.

"WHY GOD FUCKING DAMN IT WHY!!!?" I punch the wall and hear glass shattering followed by some screams from the living room. I bolt downstairs and find a horrifying sight.

Joey, Daniel and Sawyer all have bullet holes in their forehead. Their faces are pale and their eyes have lost the color.

"No... No no NO!!!" I run out of the house and see Mitch in his car.

"You ready to.... What happened?" He asks, seeing my tear stained face.

"Joey Daniel and Sawyer were shot in the foreheads!!" Mitch's eyes widen and he runs inside while Scott opens the back door with him inside. I crawl in and he lays me down so my head is on his lap. He strokes my hair and kisses my forehead, cheek and temple, whispering sweet nothings into my ear as Mitch drives.

The worst part about that day....

I never got to say goodbye to anybody..

FLASHBACK OVER

Now that I'm 17, Dan and Phil have a lot of new possibilities for me, but the one I wanted which they're giving me...

I can move back to L.A. and Scott and Mitch will adopt me.

I'm so confused right now, my mind is torn between the two options......

Should I stay or go?
