I look around at my new surrounding, I was skeptical if this was just a mere dream or illusion.

From where I was standing before in front of a convenience store, in the blink of eye, I was at a completely different place.

It was surreal. The thing I see was not the usual sight, the person that walk pass me was not normal either.

They had either a rough skin with scales that resembles crocodile's, a cat, dog or rabbit ears that protruding on their head, with different color hair shades, unlike my raven black one-- so inadvertently, I look more conspicuous amongst the crowds.

As I see it, this place was filled with either demi-human or just a normal human like me here.

Their clothes and fashion are very different from my tracksuit, everything that I see was kind of game-like. This is the same sort of setting that I often play in RPG game, so to speak, this thrills me.

"So, is this the time for Natsuki Subaru to shine?"

If other person were in my place, they would definitely freak out and lost their composure. Yet I didn't.

The reason? Why?

Because I can feel it, I can feel it run in my vein, the adrenaline that rushed. This place, for whatever reason that I was summoned here, I can feel nothing except for excitement to discover this new world.

I wander around aimlessly, trying to search for any clues. I don't have any money with me, well I do have money actually. But the currency is different here, so maybe that was to be expected.

The stall owner that I was asking questions suddenly raises his voice after knowing that I am a broke customer and shooed me away.

"Man, he didn't need to yell at me."

Briskly, I leave the stall and make my way, but something caught my eyes amongst the congested crowds.

It was a girl with a striking blue hair, she stood there still, without moving like a china doll. For a moment I had thought that it was a statue-- but if it was, I have to admit that it was a beautifully crafted statue.

The other striking features that I noticed about her was that small and oval pointy ears that sticking out from her strands of hair.

And one more thing that makes me feel curious about her was that she looks lost just like me.
