"You bring him here, Captain Rayne, no matter what," stated the man with a final tone. "Hutchinson, out."

The hologram disappeared and the masked man pocketed the disk. Silence filled the room. Rayne looked at me with a sad look before turning back to the masked man, "You are dismissed."

The man saluted again and quietly exited the room. Rayne sighed and turned to me. With a flick of her fingers, I fell down to the ground and the chains grew smaller, joining together. I was still bound, but it wasn't like I was going to do anything. I was too shocked. Rayne kneeled down beside me and whispered, "So this is where he wanted you to be."

Another chain grew from the one I was bound with and Rayne took it, indicating that I should stand up. I obediently did and followed her out the door. Why would I kill my parents? And how many people did I massacre? But, I couldn't just ask Rayne because I didn't trust her. Trusting people was a big thing. I wasn't about to make her or anyone aware that I lost my memories.

Suddenly, I felt confusion and self-hatred well up within me. Why would I kill my parents? Did I kill innocent people? Where were the answers when I needed them? I realised that I was walking slowly when Rayne kept pulling me along.

I wanted to ask her why she defended me, but my distrust stopped me. Not just because of that, but because of the cameras peering down at both of us. There was a camera in the room where I was suspended in, too. Suppose, Rayne only acted hostile towards me because of that.

"Keep walking, Kagayuki, or do you want another gut spill?" said Rayne, pulling me more strongly now.

"Ooh, so feisty," I muttered with undetectable spite, but I did fasten my walking pace.

I found myself within another cold metal room that looked very similar to the last one, but noticeably smaller. The room was on a truck by the way and it was already moving under "Captain Rayne's orders". The strange thing was, it didn't feel like I was moving. It was as if the room wasn't on a truck at all.

Two masked men awaited in the room and once I had entered, they both quickly grabbed me. One kicked my knees from behind, making them buckle and I fell to my legs. I tried to resist, but they yanked my arms up to the ceiling. Something magnetic bounded my arms to the ceiling, and I was in the same position when I was first captured.

"Good, dismissed," said Rayne and the two men exited the room. Rayne gave me a brief look before she, too, leaves the room. When the door closed, sorrow overwhelmed me. My still wet tears stayed in my mask and now even more was pouring down. Soon, my mask would fill with tears and I would suffocate, but I didn't care.

The appalling news was killing me. The crime I committed that earned the world targeting my head was still unclear. My questions led my mind to the horrifying images. Images of a sea of blood filled my mind and was wracking my head with pain.

By then, I deduced that there was no point in regaining my memories. Even if I did, that didn't change the fact that I killed people.

But...

If there was no point in regaining my memories, then there was no reason to live. The thought of dying scared me, making me reluctant. Why did I kill? There had to be a reason and I was going to find out. If I died, I would be running away and leaving my sin unatoned.

So if I was going to be regaining my memories, I had to get off this vehicle.

I looked up and pulled down on the chains, lifting my feet up in the air and wrapped my legs around the chains. I gradually climb up, enforcing my weight on the chains. For five minutes, the chains refused to give. Thinking my effort was becoming hopeless, I didn't realise there was someone watching.
