Wake Up

It's been 3 weeks since the car crash and Luke's still not any better. It's the 7th of July, Ashton's birthday. The day they're turning life support off.

As much as we begged them to keep it on they said 'we can't keep him alive if he's showing no signs of improvement, some people need it a lot more'.

Ashton had his arms wrapped around me as I cried. One of my big brothers is gonna die. I looked over to Robyn to see she was crying silently holding his hand.

The nurse came in to turn off the life support. I sat down beside Luke's bed and held his other hand. Robyn leaned up to kiss him. I felt him squeeze my hand.

"He squeezed my hand!" I said to the nurse. She looked over at Luke.

"Luke if you can hear us squeeze Tara's or Robyn's hand," the nurse asked.

Robyn grinned. "He squeezed my hand" she said. Then Luke's eyes opened. He blinked a few times.

"I'm going to get a doctor.." The nurse said walking out.

"Hey" I said to him. He looked over to my and smiled.

"Hey" His voice sounded groggy.

I hit his arm lightly. "Don't do that ever again you scared us" I smiled. He chuckled. He looked over to Robyn, who was smiling whilst crying. He frowned.

"I'm sorry.." He said. Robyn went over to him and hugged him.

"I'm sorry too" she said then kissed him.

"Yeah I'm gonna go get some coffee.." I said awkwardly. I walked out and went to the cafeteria. I got some coffee and sat on a bench. I took some sips of my coffee when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hello Tara," My mum replied. "How's Luke?" She asked.

"He's out of the coma and he's awake.." I said taking another sip of my coffee.

"That's good," she said. "I found out about your exams.." She trailed off.

"Oh yeah.." I laughed nervously.

"I want you to get a tutor.. I have one picked out and he'll be travelling with the One Direction bus. His names Sam" she said. A tutor?? Really??

"Oh okay I got to go, Ashton wants me" I said and hung up as I saw him come into the cafeteria.

"Hey" He said. I smiled.

"Happy birthday" I smiled. He rolled his eyes.

"You're 15 I'm 19 yay!" He sarcastically laughed. I smiled.

"We should have a movie night after I get my first tutoring.." I suggested. Ashton frowned.

"Tutoring?" He asked. I sighed.

"Yeah, my mum found out I failed French and history she's making me get a tutor for me" I explained.

"Okay, come on Luke'll be discharged in a while so I wanna go get the bus tidied up.." He said. I nodded.

We got to the bus and the mess was messy. We started cleaning which meant throwing everything into Martha's bunk seeing as she's left.

The bus door opened. Luke came in on crutches, Robyn, Calum and Michael behind him.

"I'm so happy not having to stay in that hospital anymore" I said. Luke rolled his eyes.

Calum came over to me. "There's a cake for Ashton go get it and lit it.." He said in my ear. I nodded and went out to the kitchen bit of the bus. I lit the candles. I walked back down to see the lights off and Ashton grinning as we gave him the cake.

"Happy birthday!" I smiled as I put it down in front of him. I sat beside him as he blew out his candles.

"Did you make a wish?" I asked. He nodded.

"I hopeit comes true.." He said.

It's like 3:30 and I'm waiting for my tutor to get here. I heard the door opening and a good looking guy came in.

"Are you Tara?" He asked. I nodded. "I'm Sam" he smiled and shook my hand.

We started with History. It was so boring. I hate history. Oh my god.

Sam turned to me and our faces were close. He smiled a bit then he leaned in.

What is he doing. I sat confused. He kissed me for like 3 seconds when I pulled away.

"What are you doing?" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around to see a pissed off Ashton.

"Tutoring Tara" Sam replied.

"Since when was tutoring kissing someone.?" Ashton asked getting angry.

"I couldn't help myself.." Sam answered. Ashton got even more mad now. Sam stood up, and Ashton lunged towards him. Ashton hit him in the jaw. He kept throwing punches at Sam.

"ASHTON STOP" I shouted. He looked up at me and stopped. Sam quickly got up and as far away from Ashton as he could.

"I'm sorry.." He said. He looked at me his puppy eyes. I sighed.

"Sam I'm really sorry.. Next time ill go to the 1D bus.." I said. Sam nodded. He grabbed the books and left.

"I'm really sorry Taz please don't be mad at me.." He kept apologising knowing i was mad at him.

"I'll take you to maccas to make up for it? I'll pay?" He said.

"Ugh fine" I said. I got a random hoodie and pulled it over my head. We got off the bus and walked to McDonalds.

It wasn't too busy. "Can I have a mcnugget box and a mcflurry and a happy meal please?" He ordered for me.

It's true love when you know your friends maccas order Ashton always said.

"Ashton doesn't that guy look a lot like Luke?" I said directing my head in the Luke look alikes direction

"Oh my god yeah, that's creepy!" He said. I laughed.

We waited for our food and went to sit at the back of the restraunt.

"Ash, how come Martha left and you weren't bothered?" I asked. He looked up at me.

"I broke up with her.." He answered.

"Why did you do that?" I asked.

"So I could do this," he replied. Wait do what?

"Tara will you go out with me?"

(Cliffhanger ooh will I say yes or will I say no???? Harry was on the late late toy show last night oMG and I was in my cousins house and she's 8 and her favourite is ZayN IM LAUGHING AT HER HAHAHAA ok bye bye now)
