CHAPTER 10: STARTING OVER

Jason arrives at Lisa's house...
She is still waiting patiently behind her house for Jason.

"So how did it go? What happened?"

Jason sits next to her, holds her hand and lets her head rest on his shoulder.

"It went better than I expected... But its over... For now on... You're the only girl in my life."

Lisa squeezes his hand tighter.

"You're the only guy in my life... No more boyfriends!"

Jason frowns

"But if you want one... I won't be in the way..."

"I don't want one bro... I just want you to be happy."

"Just saying if you ever fall in love."

Lisa closes her eyes falling asleep on his shoulder then on his lap. Jason stares at her, stroking her head.

Jason's head ~ I love her so much... She is so adorable when she sleeps. Wish this could happen more... But I should probably go home and let her rest.

Jason whispers into her ears...

"Sis... Sis wake up... I have to go... Its getting late."

Lisa stands up yawning.

"Awww but I want you to stay longer."

"Me too but I need my beauty sleep or I won't look that good tomorrow."

"Aww okay... Sweet dreams big bro."

Lisa hugs Jason tight, so tight like she's not ever letting go.

"Im going to miss you a lot."

"Not as much as I am going to miss you lil sis."

Lisa kisses his cheek, making him blush.

"U-uhm bye sis."

"Bye big bro I love you!"

"I love you more lil sis."

Jason leaves with a smile on his face the rest of the night and goes home resting.

The following day...

Jason is at the club alone dancing.

A 19 year old girl comes along and dances with him. Twerking in front of him. Jason tries to ignore her but fails when she starts talking to him.

"Want to date this sexy ass?"

Jason looks into another direction.

"No thank you."

She stops twerking and stands right in front of him.

"Why not? Am I not hot enough?"

Jason gulps when she started leaning in for a kiss.

"Yes you are... Its just... I'm already dating somebody else."

"Oh? Who?"

"Uhm... Uhm... Her name is Lisa."

"You're dating her?!"

"Uhm... Maybe."

"But she's young."

"So... Age is just a number."

"Don't you want to date somebody with experiences? I can make you VERY happy everyday."

Said the girl rubbing his thigh.

Jason jumps away.

"No thanks."

Jason leaves the club exploring the city streets.

Jason pulls his phone out of his pocket and texts Lisa.

"This girl came along and asked me out."

Lisa replies immediately after she gets his message.

"But I thought... You're only going to be mine now..."

Lisa frowns getting really sad

"That's why I said I'm already dating somebody..."

"Who would that be?"

"Well... I was thinking... Since you're the only girl I want in my life... I said... That im dating..."

"Me?"

Jason gulps

"Yeah... I mean if its okay with you?"

Lisa jumps up and smiles at the message.

"Well I am only yours... You know that right sis?"

"I do big bro... Meet me at my house."

"Okay sis."

Jason takes a bus to her house... When he arrives, she is already waiting outside the bus stop for him.

Jason steps out the bus giving Lisa a tight hug.

"Hey sis or should I say ~ hey baby."

Lisa laughs

"What? Why are you laughing?"

"Nothing ha-ha it sounds weird. It feels weird."

"Sis... We don't have to be a couple when we're not in public."

"I know bro... We are still bro and sis."

"Yeah... This is just to protect me from getting another girl."

"Yes I know..."

Lisa frowns just by the thought of losing him again to another girl.

"Bro... I don't want this to get weird... I don't want things to change between us. I want you to be in my life... Forever."

"Me too sis."

Jason hugs Lisa holding her close to him without space.

"So... I'm going to start calling you baby or sweetheart or even love ~"

Said Lisa teasing him

"Ha-ha I guess so... I might even call you a charmer."

Lisa laughs

"Me? Ha-ha a charmer?"

"My lil charmer."

They both laugh

Lisa suddenly stops laughing

"Uhm... Bro..."

Jason also stops laughing, knowing what she is about to ask.

"Yes?"

"Would we... Uhm... Have to kiss?"

Lisa blushes trying to hide her face by turning around.

"Well... I guess... When the time comes yeah. But we don't have to... If you don't want to."

Lisa's head ~ I'm going to have to kiss him when we're in public! Wow this really is the best day of my life! I want to kiss him now... But it would be just weird and what will he think? He sees me only as a sister."

Jason hugs her from behind.

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you..."

Jason's phone rings scaring Lisa, making her jump out of his arms.
Jason laughs but then takes out his phone and answers.

While he talks to the anonymous contact on the phone... His smile turns into a frown. Then hangs up the phone.

"Sis I have to go... Something I have to go take care of."

Lisa gets a frown too.

"Okay bro err... Baby."

"Bye my lil charmer."

Jason hugs her tight and receives a kiss on the cheek from Lisa.

Jason smiles a little then leaves taking a bus to who knows where.
