*~! Andrew's POV !~*Having Krystal in my arms would've been enough to satisfy me for the whole day, but she insisted we got up, and went out. We spent our Monday morning together, then headed back to the boardwalk to eat lunch before returning home in the late afternoon. I couldn't wipe the stupid smile that continued to find its way onto my face. I was just happy I finally said something, and she felt it too.
We decided it was best to spend some time apart, though. Our two days together was enough, and we needed to get prepared to head back to work tomorrow. I'm sure the people at the office suspected things when we announced we weren't coming in, leaving my assistant, Heather, in charge. She was very good at her job, and Krystal and I were thinking about promoting her.
So, there I laid, in my bed. I missed Krys being in my arms, holding her, kissing her whenever I wanted. It gave me a different feeling, and yet I had to remember she isn't mine just yet. This is what I meant about the torment. She was constantly running through my mind. Is she asleep? Is she planning for tomorrow? Is she thinking about me? Were the constant thoughts I had. The only way I could think of possibly shaking them was if I called my sister.
"Hello?"
"You know, to be my twin sister, you rarely call," I scoffed as she answered.
"Shut up, Drew! So what's up?"
"I may or may not have told our best friend about my feelings for her..." I trailed.
"She told me. Did you guys stay in bed all day, because when I called her office, there wasn't an answer."
"No, we decided to go to the shore," I nodded.
"Oh god... What happened?"
"I'm actually shocked she didn't tell you," I deadpanned. I though Krys would've called her the second I walked in my room, and said goodnight.
"She said she would call tomorrow, she was tired," she defended.
"Oh, well, we ended up sleeping together, but it was different. It was slow and passionate and-"
"Please, spare me the details. You may be my best friend, but you're still by brother," she reminded, and I chuckled.
"Correct. Anyways, it was different you know. You could tell we both had been holding so much in, and we talked once we woke up. She even let me kiss her!" I exclaimed, but in a whisper because she was right next door.
"Oh shit! Should I call News Channel 5?!" Carmen laughed. My smile vanished, and I tried to think of a comeback, but I couldn't.
"Shut up. Anyways, we're gonna continue with whatever the hell we are doing, but we're both gonna keep dating. If what we feel is real, then we'll come right back to each other," I shrugged.
"I don't understand you two... Why not just be together?" I heard some muffling, before I heard her flop on a couch. She probably had Chester, her puppy, in her lap as she flicked through the channels on her tv.
"Because, we are us. Nothing about us since high school has made sense. I really am starting to fall for her; I like her a lot, and not just as a friend anymore. I do respect her wanting to sort her feelings, though, before we jump into something. The last thing I want is to lose my best friend, and not even have a shot with her," I shook my head, like my sister could see.
"Ah, I see. Well, I, on the other hand, had a date tonight-"
"Again?! I need to meet this guy," I scowled.
