*~! Krystal's POV !~*
My eyes snapped open, but shut quickly after. There was such a heavy weight on my eyelids, and I was beginning to get sick of it. I had tried to wake up everyday for a week, and couldn't do so, and would often fall back asleep, but that day, I was determined. Get up, you can do it, I thought of Andrew's voice. That's when it all hit me, as it did everyday. He was slipping, that's the word his doctor used last i spoke to him, and he also informed me that he wasn't sure if he would recover. My chest clinched at the thought, but I continued pressing toward opening my eyes. He and the guys were driving when a semi truck jetted out and hit them head on. Santiago and Aiden didn't have on seatbelt, but because they were in the back row, they only obtained a few injuries, but Andrew did have on a seatbelt, which caused him to be pinned between the two vehicles once he slipped through his seatbelt and fell through the windshield. The doctor said it was a miracle that Andrew hadn't died, but there were still possibilities that he wouldn't be able to walk for the rest of his life, and he would be me mentally and physically paralyzed.
My eyelids were still heavy, and I still hadn't woken all the way up yet. Good morning sunshine, his voice vibrated throughout my mind. I almost jumped at the memory of his voice, but I remembered it was just a thought. Finally, I opened my eyes, my wanting to know if he was alright being my only motivation. I groaned as I was met with a bright light that shined through an open blind. I heard shuffling next to my bed and turned my head as fast as I could, which wasn't very fast, and noticed Aiden laying on a cot not too far away. I smiled as I tried to reach him, and frowned when my attempt failed. Soon, my room was overflooded with doctors and nurses which checked my vitals and pressed hard against my stomach. My eyes shot down to my stomach and I noticed my stomach had become more bloated than before. I looked to one of the nurses who looked at me with a smile and a gleam in her eye.
"Hi!" She grinned brightly at me as if nothing had been wrong.
"H-hello," I muttered, watching as my brother woke up, rubbing his eyes.
"Krys! Y-you're awake!" He exclaimed excitedly as one doctor held him back, preventing him from reaching me.
"How long have I been out?" I asked as my eyes traveled around the room.
"A little over a week, but we've stabilized you, everything's okay."
"I-is Andrew okay? Will he live?"
"He's still a little unstable--"
"Actually, he woke up about an hour ago, and he's dying to see you," one doctor informed me as he stuck a needle in my arm. I winced with a loud hiss as he did so, and the other doctor let Aiden finally come to my bed. He wrapped his arms around my neck tightly as I tried to lift my arms to meet him but was restrained by a blonde nurse.
"So, can he come in here?"
"In a little bit sweetie, your baby is having a few complications," the same blonde smiled gravely.
"What? What kind of complications? W-will she be--"
"It's actually a boy," she grinned brightly as a grin spread across my face.
"A boy? Oh my-- he's gonna be so happy! He wanted a baby boy," I giggled as the door came open revealing my fiancee. He rushed past those helping me and ended up next to me despite their complaints, and he kissed my lips deeply. I pulled away, winded, but smiling.
"You're okay! You're okay!" he shouted as I laughed loudly.
"Yes, and we're having a boy!" I blurted as he widened his eyes.
