I watched the world speed by. My face was pressed against the glass, probably making myself look moderately stupid to passerby. I'm pretty sure everyone in the car thought I was asleep. I heard Landon and Kassie chatting in the backseat. What they were talking about, I don't know. I just know that they were being silly.
I felt a hand on my shoulder as we pulled into a rest stop. I sighed. We had only been driving for an hour, but they were restless and needed to stop. I stepped out of the car and stretched my arms above my head, headphones still on. Jace, my boyfriend, walked in front of me and placed his hands on my sides, making me gasp as he pulled me closer to him. He pulled out my headphones laughing quietly.
"You always have those in Caileigh. It gets kinda annoying because then you can't hear my bad jokes", He said, his lips against my forehead. I giggled and he pulled away, smiling. He kissed me and walked back to the other side of the car, getting in. I sighed and got in myself.
For some reason, Kassie and Landon were still gone, doing who knows what. I lay back and put my headphones back in, turning up my music. Only to have them yanked out second later. I looked at Jace murderously, and he held up his hands in surrender. He laughed and shook his head.
"Baby I'm pretty sure they are making out in the woods.", he said, looking out the windshield, seemingly concerned. While he worried, I just burst out laughing. I mean, it was pretty funny, and I suppose possible. Those two would never make out around us, over 18 now or not.
"I hope they realize we know what they are doing...", I said trailing off. He looked at me smirking. I raised an eyebrow and he just started to frown. As soon as I caught on, I shook my head.
"Pleaaaase! C'mon they are!", he said, and I laughed at his childishness.
"Yes, but they will be back any minute!", I said, still laughing a little.
"Soooo? They know how we are it's not like they haven't caught us doing stuff like this before.", My eyes widened thinking of the past times. Yes. Times. Plural.
"Doesn't mean I want them to again!", I said in a whiney voice. He sighed and got out of the car. He walked around the front and opened my door. Because I wasn't buckled he easily turned me facing towards him, and stood between my legs. He slipped his hands up under my shirt and placed his lips on my neck.
I started to breathe heavily, and he smiled against my neck. He started to trace his lips up to my jawline and then back down my neck. I placed my hands on his shoulder and I heard him chuckle. He pulled away and pressed our foreheads together, hands still in my shirt.
"You still wanna be like that?", I frowned and felt him grab my sides. I wrapped my legs around him, crushing myself to him. He laughed once again, and slowly and softly pressed his lips to mine. I sighed and felt him smile in the kiss. I started to pull away, but he just grabbed my sides and pulled me back, making me gasp. He took this as an opportunity to slip his tongue in my mouth.
I moaned quietly, but considering his hand's actions, he heard me. He slipped his hands out of my shirt to the small of my back, pulling me closer if it was even possible. I couldn't help but continue quietly moaning as he kissed me passionately.
"Seriously guys? This is the fifth time!", I pulled away, but Jace pulled me close again, so I decided on burying my face in his shoulder. My face was bright red, and I was thankful for the opportunity to hide it. I hit him, and in response, he just kissed my forehead and walked around to the other side of the car.
I buckled up and covered my face. Goddammit, I'm an Idiot. I slipped my headphones back in, ignoring everyone once more. Before I tuned everyone out, I heard Kassie and Jace talking. I fell asleep at some point.
