Edwards, Phillip and Choi

Mr. Edwards POV

I am waiting inside the business class lounge for my flight to Italy. I still have an hour before we board the plane. As I look outside the window, I can't stop thinking about my nieces and daughter, especially Perrie.


I told her I can cancel my flight and be with them but she urges me to go. I know she can be a pain in the ass sometimes but my daughter has a good heart and I'm worried to death that someone is after us again. Those kids didn't deserve this kind of life.


They are still young and now they can't even go nor do the things they wanted without their bodyguards following them and being cautious at all times. I sigh as their faces flashes in my mind.


'I need to talk to Phillip and Choi' I whispered, I took my phone in my pocket and dials his number. After three rings, Phillip answers my call.


'Are you on board now?'


"No, I still have an hour before we board the plane" I answered, I hear him chuckle and I think he already knows why I call him


'Still worried about the girls?'


"What do you want me to feel? Someone is after my daughter and our nieces. Eric already texted me and I'm really thankful that he understands the situation but he's worried about Samantha too."


"I know but we need to trust them. Choi and his team will find the culprit then we'll know whose behind this death threat again"


I lean my back on the chair, close my eyes and sighs "How about Wilfred and Mariama? Have you talk to them?"


'Well Wilfred wants JB to go home but you know how stubborn our little brother is as for Mariama, she knows we'll take good care of Michelle'


"Okay, I'll call Wilfred later and explain to him that it's too dangerous for JB to go home alone"


'Good luck with that' I smile and shook my head then I remember an important thing "Can you come here with Choi, I really need to talk to him"


'Okay my dear brother, if this will make you less worried. I'll call you when we get there'

20 mins later...


Phillip's POV

we found my brother drinking coffee with his bodyguard inside the business class lounge. I tap on the glass door and he look at us. He excuses himself from the boys and went out of the lounge.


"Thanks for coming Mr. Choi" my brother said "My pleasure Edwards, your older brother mentioned to me that you're worried about the girls"


"I do so much. I feel like any moment they will do anything to harm them again. I mean what else do they want?"


"Me. I think they still want me dead." I answered "Me and Matt are the key witness to this case. Yvonne and Drew are dead but we don't know who are the other people involved in their business."


"We still don't know if Drew is really dead, Phillip." My brother answered in a frustrated tone "Don't worry too much okay, I'll do anything for them to be safe"


"We're already linking some people that has connection with Drew. Other people that might be in that video and wanted to clear their names by eliminating your brother, daughter and nieces" Choi said.


"Okay, I just hope you'll be able to get a link on one of those people. A lot of lives are in danger because of Drew." I look at him and was about to say something but he stop me.


"She's out of the picture, Phillip. No matter what we do, she can't do anything"

"So you're okay with Dimple taking care of your daughter? There are a lot of things that Dimple can't do that Jade can"

"I know that. I don't want to keep a secret from them especially to my daughter but we can't bring Jade back"


I nod my head at him because I know he's right. We heard someone talking on the speaker calling all the passengers from flight 841 bound to Italy to proceed at gate 8.


"That's my flight, I'll give you a call once we landed" he said to me, I stand up and pull my brother into a hug "I'm sorry for bringing this problem to our family"


"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault. Now please do anything to help them and take care of my daughter and our nieces."


"I will. Stay safe." I watch my brother walk-away from us together with his bodyguards. Choi assured me that he added another five bodyguards once he's in Italy.


"I'll give you an update once I talk to Brian about the investigation we're doing. You take care of yourself, Phillip" Choi said to me "I will, you too Choi." I answered back.
