THE FINAL CHAPTER

As soon as the car stops in front of the hospital, a girl quickly jumps out of the vehicle not minding the person she's with calling her name. In her mind, she needs to see her as soon as possible. Her heart is beating faster for every step she makes. She doesn't care if people are looking at her in a weird way; all she wants is to know that she's okay.

I'm coming baby! I'm here!

She stops when she sees the elevator but the line is too long, she didn't waste precious time and run towards the stairs. She keeps on looking at the floor number, the room where her wife is, is at the 4th floor.

2nd floor! Almost there babe! – she said to herself when she felt her phone vibrated. She fishes it out of her pocket to see that Leigh-anne is calling her.

"Hello?" she answered while still running up the stairs "Where are you? I'm calling Jesy but she's not answering her phone." She answered.

"I don't know where she is but I think she's following me from behind."

"You're not with her?!"

"I jump out of the car the moment we arrived and I didn't bother looking at her or checking on her." she answered in between her breaths "How is she? Is she still in pain?" but before Leigh-anne can answer, she hears her voice on the background.

"She's still in pain but please hurry." she absentmindedly nod her head and answer "I will Leigh, thanks." and put back the phone on her pocket when she hears Jesy's voice.

"God damn it! I told you to wait for me." She said while catching up on her breath "I'm sorry but we really need to go Jesy." She nods her head a couple of times and sits on the steps.

"You go ahead; I'll try to catch up." she smiled weakly and continue to run up the stairs. A few minutes pass by and she saw the number on the wall.

5th floor.

She smiled and searches where her room is, she turn to her left then run a little more then turn right and saw Samuel standing in front of the door of her room. She walks in a fast pace when he saw the girl and gives her a smile.

"Thank God you're here." He said "Is everything alright?" she asked.

"Yes and she's waiting for you." He answered, the girl nod my head once and was about to reach the door handle when he speaks again "but that was yesterday. Right now, ahm I think you're the last person she wants to see."

The girl furrows her eyebrows at him and wait for further explanation when she hears her voice inside "FUCK!! I'M GOING TO KILL THAT EDWARDS IF I SEE HER!" and look at Samuel and he is laughing but he stops when he sees her looking at him.

"Why did she want to kill me?" but he just shrug his shoulder as his answer "Open the door and you'll see." She took a deep breath and releases it, she reaches out for the door handle and turn the knob and open the door.
