When lunchtime arrived, Meg, Chloe and I headed straight for the door. When we got out of the classroom:

"Meg! Sam! Chloe!"

We turned around to see our bbf, Troy catching up to us.

"Hi Troy!" I greeted him with a hug.

We all headed for lunch.

"We met a few people earlier, and we're sitting with them at lunch today." I told Troy.

"That's nice! I mean, it's already half of the schoolyear, but.. Nice!" Troy said.

"We met that senior who got squished by the jocks Liam and Kyle during that huge fight they had." I added.

"Ooh, and how'd you guys meet?" He asked.

"He helped Sam with her stuff when the lunatics knocked her down earlier today." Meg answered.

"What??" Troy said in disbelief.

"Yeah. The girl with him even shouted at the boys. They seem really cool." Chloe said.

As we got in the cafeteria, we searched for Aiden and the others.

"Sam!" I heard Aiden.

"Megan!" I'm sure that was Jeanine.

We searched the room and there they were.

"Hi!" I waved at them as we headed their direction.

"I'll go get the food." Chloe said excitedly.

"Sit down." Aiden excitedly said.

Troy followed behind.

"Oh, you have a friend." Aiden noticed Troy as he approached my side.

"Right. Troy, this is Aiden. Aiden, Troy." I introduced them to one another.

"Hey. How's it goin'." Troy said with a nod and a friendly smile as he held his hand out.

"Pretty good thanks." Aiden replied, they shook hands.

We all sat down around the table.

"What year you guys in?" Eric asked.

"Senior year." Troy answered.

"Oh cool. Batchmates. We don't get to make friends around here a lot." Eric said gladly.

"Us too. Specially with a lotta jerks around." I said to Eric.

"Too bad we only met now. You know, with the school year almost to a close." Aiden said with a shrug.

"I got da food!" Chloe arrived with a tray full of goodness.

"Dig in, people!" Chloe said as she started eating her fries.

"Thanks Chloe!" I began to dig in.

"Would've been awesome hanging out more." Aiden continued as he started to eat some of the fries.

"What are you talking about? It's okay. We still have 2 and a half months, I think? Right?" I said positively.

"Then let's make the most out of it. Sam. Tell us about you." Aiden said with a smug smile.

"What? Really?" I said in a chuckle.

"Well yeah. We gotta get to the get-to-know-each-other part, right?" Aiden said, his palms facing the ceiling.

We all let out a chuckle.

"So go, Sam. You start." Aiden said as he crossed his arms on the table then they looked at me.
