Chapter 20- I'll admit..

(A/n: Hi everyone! A heads up the books gonna end in a couple chapters after this one..thinking about a sequel but it all depends on the ending...thanks for everything! Y'all are amazing and so supportive. <3)

***Luke's pov***

"Luke..you want some chips or gum?"

"Huh?"

I was half asleep since we woke up so early and took off.

"-groan- just get me a water"

"Ok"

I look at my phone and see it's barely 9:25. I see a missed text from Elaine.

Elaine❤️: Good Morning Luke💕

I text back quickly.

Me: Good Morning lane❤️ hope you have a great day!

Elaine❤️: you to! 😊

My phone rings again but this time it's Leah.

Leah: I miss you :(
Leah: party at my place tonight! Hope to see you there again :) maybe we can do it again ;)

I ignore them and dig my phone back into my pocket.

We only had a couple more hours left. She was farther then I thought but it was fine.

"Here ya go"

I drink the water then get comfortable on the seat.

"Hey hey hey! Your turn buddy"

"Aw damn. Ok"

I move to the other side and start driving away.

I'm getting closer to Elaine and that's all that matters at this point.

***Elaine's pov***

"Partner up everyone!"

Great. Danny's not here and I don't like these people in here.

While everyone finds there friends I wait till there's no one left so maybe I could skip it.

But then he comes to me.

"Hey Elaine..wanna be my partner?"

"Oh hey..um I was..sure why not"

I smile and Dean sits next to me. He was so cute and different now compared to when I left. Ariana made him a different person..an ugly and mean person.

Our whole assignment was to remake a scene from Romeo and Juliet. Of course I would be.

"We could do the one where she's outside the window and says those famous words to Romeo"

"We could but why?"

"I don't know..or whatever you want"

I thought about it for a while and then caved in.

"I guess"
