Dancing , laughter, clapping and champagne. Where am i? I looked around until i realized.... I m in a party. A woman in a deep blue dress was heading my way. I thought she was going to bump into me but she just she passed through me like i was a ghost and so did the other people coming my way just pass through me. I must be dreaming, I thought.

People were happy. Celebrating. I wandered around until i reached the front. In front was a platform where there was was a man and a woman carrying a baby girl, looking like a few weeks old. They were sitting in thrones on top of the grand staircase that elevated their position. They must be the king and queen with their heir, the princess. People would bow and offer gifts to them. Their power lingered in the air. Thier subjects wouldnt even dare to make eye contact.

The queen put back the princess to the golden crib and looked around with a sad expression then looked back to the baby giggling in the crib and kissed her forehead. She whispered something to her daughter while looking so passionately deeply to child's eyes. The scene made my heart melt. She really loved her daughter.

The king watched them. He looked at them with so much love, i felt jealous. I have never met my father or my mother.

A guard tap the king's back and whispered something which made the king's face turn solemn as a soldier. He looked back to crowd and cautiously scanned it. The queen saw her husband's face and looked worried. She put a hand on the king's back making the king turn to her. She gave him a reassuring smile. His face softened at the sight and he smiled back. He kissed her forehead for a long while. She closed her eyes to savour the moment.

The princess started to cry which caught my attention. The queen rocked her. I went up the stairs and stopped to my steps when i saw a clearer view of a beautiful scene. The king stared lovingly to his wife and daughter. The mother was softly carressing the baby's cheeks while the baby played with her long brown soft hair. They stared at each other as if communicating. The mother had deep purple eyes with golden rings.

I didnt realize that i took a step closer. My feet dragged another step, and another, and another until i was close enough to touch them. The king was looking back at the crowd and scanning. The baby let out a wail making me turn to her. As if magnets, our eyes battled. I was shocked when i saw a lightning of bright purple cross her brown eyes. She reached for me. She could see me. How? I asked myself. Then she beamed at me, my heart fluttered.

Then, gunshots were heard.

The crowd panicked and started screaming. The guards took out their guns. The princess started crying. The queen try to hush the baby down. The king shouted orders and told the queen to hide. I looked at the huge doors where all the shooting tatooed men were coming from. Everything was messed up.

As the queen was running away from the battle scene, a man, looking like the leader headed for them. All the guards with then were down. The tatooed leader's men must have caused it. The king tried to stop him but failed to do so. His attention was drawn to much to the princess and the queen to even notice the knife headed towards him. He was hit on the side of his stomach causing blood to spill. He groaned. The queen cried but stopped herself from going nearer because of her baby. The king tries to stand up but leader stabbed him again on his on his thigh. He groaned once more. The queen screamed and passed the princess to a gurard. More guards came. Out of anger, the queen took a dagger from the guard that passed by and lunged for the man laughing down at the king. She silently but forcefully stabbed his back. He groaned and faced her. When he did, she took all her anger out on one final stab. She pointed it on the center if his chest. Blood spilled to her elegant purple dress. Then she went back to the princess and pulled her tight to her chest with her hands full of blood.
