"what was all that back there?" Winwin asked me as he took a bite of his ice cream.
"oh, we're just having those friendly fights you know." I said and stared at my ice cream not even minding as it dripped onto my fingers.

Winwin reached for a napkin and gently wiped her fingers. She let out a sheepish smile, embarrassed. Winwin chuckled at her but continued cleaning her fingers.  As soon as he was done, he took her ice cream cone and took his spoon. (so basically, winwin ate ice cream in a cup but she ate in a cone thats why it dripped)

He fed her a spoon of her strawberry cheesecake ice cream and sighed. "you really need me huh? you cant even eat ice cream without me." He said as a light chuckle left his lips. She nervously let out a cough. "I was just kidding." He said but he wasn't kidding. 

They sat there staring at each other when the bell of the store's door rang. Their attention shifted to a male and female who look to be on a date.

As the so called couple walked into the store, Yi Ern's eyes were glued onto the male. He had his face covered by his hat that was worn low.

"yaaah oppaa, why must you wear your hat in the store?" The girl whined. The guy grumbled. "reasons." He replied shortly. "why should you cover up your beautiful face?" She complained. "I just don't want some people seeing me here." He replied as his temper built.

Yi Ern's eyes were stuck onto the male that she had completely forgotten about Winwin. He shoved his spoon into her mouth to wake her from her daze. That action made her slightly choke. Winwin rushed to her side and rubbed her back to calm her from choking.

The eyes of the unknown male followed the sound of coughs and it landed on the two of them. He was surprised to see her with him like that. He removed his hat to get a better look but that only alerted the girl he was with. "oppaa! you took it off ! i knew you would do it for me!" She exclaimed.

Her loud, and high-pitched voice caught the attention of everyone in the store including Yi Ern and Winwin. His anger rose as he saw them there. He pulled the girl by her slim waist and wrapped her arms around her. The girl was shocked at first but happy after.

a look of hurt and sadness filled Yi Ern's eyes as she saw the scene happen infront of her. Winwin noticed her reaction and it hurt him. Yi Ern excused herself from Winwin and rushed out of the store.
She asked herself, 'What am i feeling right now? its so confusing'.
Winwin followed her out but he wasnt the only one. Taeyong ditched his 'date' to check on Yi Ern. He didnt know this would have an effect on her.

Winwin caught up to her and stopped her.

"yah Yi Ern–ah, why are you sad?"

silent.

"you dont possibly like him do you?"

silent.

"i know you, and I could see hurt in your eyes."

silent.

"Yi Ern–ah, why is it never me?"

silent.

"why is it always the boys that play around?"

silent.

"i've waited for 6 years, but i guess its always been one-sided."

She turned around to see Winwin with the same expression he had when he had to leave China. She couldnt help but feel bad. She never even gave him a chance. Its their first time meeting again but he's already broken,

again.

She stepped closer to him and wrapped her arms around him, feeling sorry.

Little did they know, Taeyong, had just arrived and saw them there. He wanted to interrupt but he couldnt move. Everything had stopped and only Yi Ern and Wiwnin were moving. He had no choice but to see what happens.

Winwin pulled away from her and stared into her eyes.

"i know i'll never get you, so I might as well try this."

He leaned into her and a spark was felt as his lips touched hers. He gently held her face between his hands and deepened the kiss. Yi Ern didn't want to pull away, scared it will hurt him. So, she went with it and her lips moved in sync with his. Her arms moved to wrap around his neck in instinct.

Taeyong watched this scene happen infront of him and it broke his heart.

"what was i even thinking, she never liked me."

He mentally slapped himself.

"i thought she would be different but, i thought wrong. Just like with every girl, i'll never be with them."
