Elemental Heart

Chapter 1

I was walking through the hallways of my school. I knew she was coming, I got the same gut-feeling I got when she was around. I usually only get this kind of feeling when i felt another elemental.

"Meghan!", She yelled.

"hey tr-", She tackled me. It hurt. I barely manged to finish saying her name. "-in..."

Trin looked around searching for people who might have been listening. She pulled me up from the ground. She leaned close to my ear and whispered, "follow me... we have something to show you."

I already knew what she meant by we. Her and Chris wanted to show me something.

"Okay?", I said nervously.

The next thing i knew, I was being pulled into a supplies closet. The light was turned on and showed two smiling faces. Chris and Trin.

I stared at them, wondering what they were thinking. "So...?", i asked raising an eyebrow, "what is it?"

All of a sudden, it got cold in the small room. I looked at them in fright. Then i noticed, Chris' eyes were an icy blue. I then realized, he created the coldness in the room. It then got a little warmer. I felt something cold touching my feet. I looked down seeing that it was water. I was terrified. I kept asking myself in my mind Have they known all along? I realized Trin was giggling. The room was empty now, no ice, no water nothing. Just three, anything but normal teenagers in a supplies closet. All of a sudden, the light turned off. Something illuminated the room slightly. Then I realized, it was me. In my own fright, I was lighting up the room.

"I knew it!" ,Trin whisper-yelled, "I knew I sensed a fire girl!"

"Do you...uh..", Chris said hesitantly, "Do you know the princess? I...I need to speak to her."

"Uh...Yeah. I do, if you w-want to...come with me after school and I'll bring you to her."

"Thanks.", He said grimly.

"Can I come too?" ,Trin asked.

"Sure." ,I said and ran off to class thinking about what had just happened.
