Punch?

"We're here!" Brayden says, when we get to Kevin's house. We walk in, I'm by Brayden, Ashley's by Mason, not holding hands though. We hear loud music, see people dancing, smell the snacks, when we walk in. I haven't told anyone, and I don't want to, but I haven't ever been to a party, well a BIG party.

"Look Ashley",I point to a sign,"it says

'Sing! Sign up to sing on stage! You can't sing alone, 2 people at a time!'

Ashley starts,"Should I..-- "sing with Mason!" I finish for her. This was so exciting! She wasn't sure, but after thinking about it, she was excited too!

"Ask him now!" "Okay, okay!" she says. "Hey, Mason, do you wanna go sing on the stage later?" Ashley asks nervously.

"Yeah!" They walk off to talk about what song they are gonna do, I guess.

Brayden and I walk over to the snack table. "What do you wanna do?" He asks me. "I really don't know!" We started laughing. "Punch?" He asks. "Yes, please!" He walks off and I lean against the table, watching everyone dance.

I find Ashley and Mason signing up. I wonder what they are singing. I see Brayden coming back from the corner of my eye. I fix my hair, and act like I never see him. "Back." He smiles and hands me my punch. "Thanks." I smile and look at my punch.

"Hey, Everyone! Are you ready for some songs done by your friends? Well here they are! First up is.. Polly and Trey!" The speaker says. We turn to see the singers. They started singing 'Little Talks'. Ashley and Mason show up and tell us the song is a surprise. Brayden steps in front me. "Want to dance?" "Yes." I giggle. He takes my hand and pulls me in. Mason does the same.

We dance really crazy! It's so much fun! He spins me and we laugh. The song is almost over. Mason and Ashley get ready to go up. "That was awesome! Good job guys! Next up are.. Mason and Ashley!" The speaker says. "Yay! Let's go!" Ashley squeals and pulls Mason up on stage." They will be singing 'When I was your man'.

I stop. This is a slow dance. I look at Brayden--- wait. Where is he? I look around. When I look up at the stage, I catch Ashley's eye. She shrugs her shoulders. I start to freak out. I can't find him anywhere! I'm turning in circles, trying to find him, when someone comes up from behind me and hugs me. "Oh my gosh. You scared me!" I look up to see him smiling.

"The song is starting!" We get in a slow dance position, which was really awkward. 'I should've bought you flowers, and held your hand'. He brought me in a little closer. 'Should've gave you all my hours'. He spun me and I landed in his arms. He brings me back up. 'Take you to every party , cause I remember how much you loved to dance'. I put my head on his shoulder. 'Do all the things I---"Ahh!"
