Crystals POV
As I exit the shower an aroma surrounds my nose. I dry myself and apply clothes to my body. Half my shirt was wet due to my hair. I walk down the hallway to find Mr.Jackson in the kitchen. I see him socializing with the cooks. As I walk in he motions me to sit in the chair next to him. He notices me shaking and ask
"Are you ok? Your cheeks are turning red, can I take your temperature?"
Uh oh. I can't exactly control my emotions all the time. I hesitantly nod my head and he rushes to gather a thermometer. While he's gone my cheeks reduced the redness shown across my face. My eyes widen as I see KFC, Chinese food, and Mexican food putted down on the table. Mr.Jackson renters the room with not only a thermometer, but a notepad along with a black-ink pen. And of course my face is already vibrantly red.
"Open up" he says putting it under my tongue. Afterwards it read that my temperature was normal. He created a confused look on his face but carried on.
"I thought since your shy, I could just have you write down your response"
I shook my head in response.
"Here's a plate, eat what you like"
I shared a small smile and got a very small drumstick. It was still warm so I let it cool.
"So what's your name? How old are you? What do you like to do for fun?"
I jot 'Crystal,12,and I don't remember. I haven't done anything fun in years onto the notepad. He reads and replies with
" You have a pretty name" he reads more "When's your birthday?" He hands back the notepad before reading the last answer. I jot May 29th. He reads the answer in shock.
"You have the same birthday as my sisters Latoya and Rebbie!" I smile. He reads the final answer and his eyes softened, before he could say anything, I run outta of the room. Vomiting.
