Crystal's POV
They all watch me as I plate with my food, waiting for me to actually eat it. I get up to get a second glass of apple juice but they stop me and tell me to stay put. I'm assuming daddy has told aunt Janet about my eating disorder. I really wish I soon grow out of this.
"Crystal your pizza is getting cold" daddy says with a bit of a persuasive voice.
I sigh in frustration. I'm tired of being told to stuff food in my mouth. I push my food across the table and get out of my seat. I speed walk towards the door but I get picked up. Why does everyone keep doing that. I don't bother to find out who it is or kick. I just cry. I'm taken up stairs to my room. I'm laid down and when I look up, I immediately realize it was daddy. He wasn't mad at all, but you could tell there was hurt in his eyes.
"Crystal, sweetheart. I know your fighting through this tough disorder, but your going to have to try." He says in a sincere tone.
"For now, take a nap. You look like you need one. And your never to old for a nap. He speaks as he closes the curtains to block the sunlight from seeping in. He walks over to the door.
"It'll be ok. I'll come check in you in a couple of hours" he says then switches the ceiling fan on and closing the door. I wait until the sound of his foot steps disappear and hop out of bed. Just because I cry doesn't mean I'm tired. I honestly just wanted some alone time, but I also wanted to be with aunt Janet. As of now I'm just bored and need to something to do. I lower myself to the floor and find my way towards the air vent.
"We should have a family get together. For you and my daughter" he says
"That's gonna be a lot of people Mike. I don't think she'll be comfortable with that." Aunt Janet says.
"I agree Mike, that's a lot for her to handle at once." Aunt LaToya exclaims
" We can make it work. We have to just slowly ease her way into feeling comfortable around them." He says.
"Whatever you wanna do Mike, just be careful. Try not overwhelm her." Aunt Janet says.
Great. I have to meet more people. I know who they are of course, but I still don't wanna be in that position. I stood up and decided to lay down on the bed. But not for rest. To instead scream into a pillow. Maybe I'll lock myself in my room. All he's gonna do is try to make me eat. Then I'll end being dumb and embarrass myself. I've already done it with two of my aunts. Why not add more to the equation. I put the pillow aside and reach over for the key to my drawer. I open it and grab the pictures of my dad. I stare at them for a good while before eventually falling asleep.

Michael's POV

I walk up stairs to check on Crystal. I try to stay quiet and open the door. As I look at her I realize there are pictures on top of her and some (that I assume) slid onto the floor. The curtains are opened even though I closed them. She must not be a big fan of the dark. I put the pictures back in her drawer and cover her up with her blanket. I head back downstairs to watch tv with my sisters.
