[>>Tavros’s POV]

Your breath catches as you feel ____ form herself to your back, repressing a shudder at the way her legs tighten around you. You’ve had a huge flushcrush on this female for sweeps, and until now have never been able to say, well, anything to her, really… Every time you try the words get stuck in your windpipe, and you have to leave before you become a blushing mess. Like you are now… At least you have the excuse of your horns to not turn your head, which would likely result in questions that you don’t particularly want to answer.

“rEADY?” you ask.

“Yeah.” Her breath brushes against your neck, moving by your ear. You bite your lip, shuddering slightly and gripping her thighs a little tighter. But you aren’t worried about dropping ____—her weight is almost nonexistent, as far as you are concerned. With a deep breath you start forward, slowly, carefully, letting her establish a rhythm with your gait so the walk is easier for the two of you. You come to the stairs, bracing a hand on the railing. You feel her stiffen on your back and pat her leg in reassurance. You feel pretty confident about these steps. Nonetheless you take them gradually, unwilling to risk falling with ____ on your back and embarrassing yourself—or, more importantly, hurting her. After thirty-two steps down you step onto the safety of the first floor, smiling triumphantly and laughing at your success. ____ laughs with you, her death-grip loosening enough for her to lift herself from your shoulders an inch or two and relaxing her tense muscles.

“You know, I don’t think I’ve ridden on anyone’s back since I was a grub. That is, when Foxmom wasn’t carrying me around in her jaws.”

“hEHE, i REMEMBER WHEN MY LUSUS, tINKERBULL,  wOULD FLY ME AROUND MY HIVE,,, yOU KNOW, lIKE IN pUPA pAN,,,” Oh, damnit. Why would you tell her that? What if she thought you were pathetic, or made fun of you like the other trolls? Stupid, stupid troll boy! You are ready to berate yourself harshly when ____ speaks up from behind you.

“I love that movie! I always wanted Pupa to show up in my room and take me flying. You’re so lucky your lusus could fly. Though, I guess if I had the choice I would still rather have Foxmom.” She laughs happily, while you breathe a sigh of relief and elation.

“mAYBE, wE COULD WATCH THAT MOVIE,,, iF, yOU KNOW, yOU WANT TO,,,”

“Yeah! I haven’t seen it for a while.” She points you into a room on the left, and you open the door. You enter to see a large, plush couch, numerous movie and game cases, and the machines to play them all on tucked neatly under a thirty-six inch screen built into the wall. You stop, gaping at it as well as the snack counter/drink bar in the back of the room—all illuminated by the bright moonlight coming in the open window.

“Tav, the couch is over there,” ____ says, pointing over your shoulder at the overstuffed, curving, black leather monstrosity overtaking the majority of the center of the room. You go over, getting down on your knee to let her off and stroking the item in amazement—and not a little masculine appreciation.

[>> Your POV]

You sit back on your couch, laughing at the expression of wonder on the brown-blooded trolls face. Not many knew you had this room—if they did they would probably never leave. The only reason you ever left it was because you liked to be outside more. Well, and to sleep of course.

“Hey, wonder boy. Why don’t you get some snacks and we’ll start the show.” When he looks up you point over to the old-fashioned popcorn machine in the corner, sighing as his gaze locks on the item with a child’s glee, his ears pricking up in excitement. ‘Men,’ you think with amusement. He looks at you with uncertainty, and when you nod your approval he leaps up—nearly tripping over his feet—to play with it. You turn around on the couch and happily give him instruction on how to work it, then sit back and wait for the popcorn to be done. It isn’t long before Tav brings you each a soda from the bar, puts the movie in, and sits down with a huge bowl of the puffed treat between you. You pick up the wireless keyboard conveniently placed in front of you and hit the keys to start the film. You notice Tavros give the keyboard a questioning glance.
