~Chapter 7~

Mairin's POV:
The mysterious man held a knife against my throat. The metal was sharp and cold.

"YOU MUST HAVE ME MISTAKEN!!" I yelled. But the man shook his head.

"HELP!!!!!" I yelled.

"Face it May, no one is here to help!"

Did he say 'May'?!?!

Alain's POV:
I ran as fast as I could down the small streets of the village. All of a sudden I heard someone scream help! It was Mairin I just know it!!

I turned the corner and found myself right in front of a dark alleyway. I pulled out my sword and creeped inside....

"WHO'S THERE?!?!" I yelled. And sure enough, it was Mairin! And some guy.

"Alain!!!!" Mairin said. "P-P-Prince A-Alain....y-you–" The man stammered. "Let. Her. Go." I said. The man quickly backed away and dropped the knife.

"Thank You." I said and untied Mairin. After that, I brought her into a hug. "Thank the world you're safe!" I whispered.

She put her head on my shoulder and rested it there.

"WHY DID YOU THREATEN TO KILL HER?!?!" I screamed at the man. He put his hands up. "IM SORRY IM SORRY!!!! I THOUGHT SHE WAS SOMEONE ELSE!!!!"

"That doesn't matter." I said Mairin sat down on the ground and I charged at the man and punched him in the jaw.

He let out a yelp and fell to the ground. I tied him up, exactly the way Mairin had been.

Mairin's POV:
Wow.....Alain is so strong and handsome. I couldn't stop blushing! After he was done tying the man up, he got out his phone.

"What are you gonna do with your phone?" I asked. "Call the police, then my parents" Alain replied and stepped away so he could get a better reception.

~Time Skip!!~

There were flashing lights everywhere want things were getting really blurry.

Alain put his arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder.

The Police, The King and Queen, Grace, Steven, and Lily were there, also a lot of town people gathered around.

My vision was getting really blurry, I was exhausted. Grace stood in front of me. A tear slid down her cheek. Alain removed his arm so Grace could hug me. She's never ever hugged me before. It felt nice......

After Grace, Steven hugged me. "Mairin!!" He said. "Never die on me okay?"

I nodded. And watched all the commotion. I saw Alain standing there. I ran up to him. "Thank You!! Thanks for saving my life!!!" I said. He hugged me again. "Of course, but please, stay out of trouble!" Alain forced a smile.

I've never felt such love in a long time.......it feels amazing.....
