Hayes and I are moving out tomorrow. I'm gonna miss waking up to a small body snuggled up into my side every morning. Today is also Decklan's first birthday!
I sit up and realized that not one, not two, but there are three little bodies laying in my bed. I smiled and pulled Decklan onto my lap.
"Happy birthday buddy." He just smiled at me and put his tiny hands on my cheeks. I pecked his little lips then got up and took him to his and Nolan's room and got him dressed so mom can set everything else up and not worry about getting him ready.

After I got him dressed, Nolan walked in just wearing underwear with a blanket wrapped around him. I put Decklan in his crib then picked Nolan up and helped him pick out his outfit for today. He chose a pair of jeans and Nash's baseball tee that says "Nashty" on it.
I picked Decklan up, then went downstairs with Nolan following behind. "There's my birthday boy." Mom cooed taking him from me. She put him in his highchair and gave him a banana and some coco puffs after putting a bib on him to protect his clothes.
Mom made omelets and bacon for everyone else. I sat down at the table across from Nolan and ate. I'm gonna miss my mom's cooking.

It's 1:32 and family members and family friends are starting to arrive. Hayes and I just finished putting up the decorations. We plopped down on the couch and just sat there until mom made us get up.
Everyone pretty much talked until it was time for the cake. Everyone went into the kitchen and either sat or stood around the table. Johnnie put Decklan in his highchair then lit the one candle after placing the cake on the table so that it wasn't in his reach.

We all sang happy birthday, then Mom blew out the candle and started serving the cake. Johnnie video tapped and took pictures of Decklan eating his piece of cake. Good thing he took his onesie off before, cause it would have gotten messed up.
It was a nice party. Everyone but Nila and Dad left. After Everyone left, Nash and Will cleaned up everything while the adults talked and Hayes and I laid on the couch with the younger three. Two of them were already asleep.
Good thing Hayes and I already packed everything, cause I don't think we will be getting up anytime soon. We are just too comfortable.
