And so then I thought, you know what I want? I want a lams fan fiction that doesn't end up with them together and I need Alex to say this to John when John breaks it off with his dear ham man. A little idea of how it should go:
( third person )
"Alexander..." The smaller man perked up in response, "yes my dear laurens?" The freckled man felt tears pricking at his eyes, how would he tell his precious Alexander that they could no longer see one another?
The small man in front of him waved at john's dazed expression," earth to laurens!" A giggle escaping his tender lips, God how laurens would miss kissing them. Blinking the tears away, laurens looked at the ground. If he looked on at this man he so tenderly loves, he would never get on with what he needed to say. And he so needed to say it.
"Alex." He repeated and the vulnerable man in front looked at him with confusion.
"Yes?"
"I- w-we-" he struggled to get the words out, how do you tell your loved one you can't love them anymore? Gesturing between the two of them as beads of sweat trickled down his freckles and a Pang went to his chest. He couldn't do this to him!
But he had to.
"We can't do this anymore!" He blurted out then shrunk into himself, head ducked down, afraid to see how the love of his life reacted.
"Y-you- b-but I- why?! You said you would never leave!" A Sob. Tears. Oh god, he was crying. John couldn't take it any longer. He would soften any time soon and as soon as he did, he'd go running back into Alexander's arms.
"Well, it doesn't matter to me anymore. I am leaving." He started, shuddered at the thought. He had promised Alexander. More tears, he looked down, focused on the ground. "W- we should never see each other again" he struggled to get it out. Laurens couldn't see Alexander. He would drop everything and beg him to take him back. It had to end once and for all.
"And what if I can't? Can't forget you? What if I never fall in love with anyone ever again because all I can think about is how I want them to be you?" Alexander whispers as his voice steadies from the crying, sobs quieting.
But Laurens is already out the door, too afraid of what he will do if he had stayed longer.
Running away from love, all he can think is don't forget me please.
