Elizabeth's POV
"I will kill that jerk!" I said.
I walked out from the school into the dark street.
It was already 8 p.m and the school was now empty.
I had school until 3 p.m but I had to do the presentation with Blake who didn't show up. I waited for him and ended up doing more than half of the work.Well, what do you expect of that guy?
"I hate that stupid guy..." I mumbled to myself as I made my way out of the school ground.
"Who are you calling stupid?" I suddenly heard a deep voice behind me.
I flinched a bit but relaxed when I realised whose voice it belonged.
"You, of course." I said without facing him.
"Sorry. I was held back." Blake said.
His voice sounded a bit off. I don't know why I know how his voice sounds like but I just knew that he usually doesn't sound like that.
I turned around and what I saw wasn't what I expected.
Blake was leaning against the wall clenching his left side. He had a black eye and blood was coming out from his wound on his bottom lip. His knuckles had blood on it and he had some bruise on his arms and his white t-shirt had some blood on it.
I held a hand in front of my now wide open mouth looking at his horrible state. I didn't know what to do in such a situation. Should I run away because he really looks dangerous or should I panic and bring him to the nearest hospital.
He groaned in pain. Because of my reflex I run up to him ignoring the light pain forming in my chest.
"What the hell happened to you?!" I asked in panic.
"I had a little fight with some guys." he said and laughed lightly before he hissed in pain.
"Ah sh*t we have to bring you to the hospital." I said in panic and helped him up.
"No, no hospitals. I just go home." he said and went to the opposite direction.
Without any hesitation I put his arm around my shoulder supporting him and helped him all the way home.
"Why are you still here? Go home. I don't need your help." he said and was about to take his arm away from me but I held it as if his life depends on it.
"First of all, we live in the same direction and second, I can't just leave like that. Just because I don't really like you and I'm mad at you because of today doesn't mean I just go away while you're injured." I said without looking at him.
I felt his gaze on me but I still focused my eyes on the empty dark road. We spent the rest of the way in silence. When we arrived at his house, all the lights were out.
"Seems like no one is at home." I said.
I looked to my house and saw that the lights in the living room were still on.
"You can go now." he said and unlocked his front door.
He was about to collide with the floor but I run up to him and held him from behind.
"Didn't I tell you to go home? Now f*ck off." he said but I went in with him.
"I go home after I helped you. Now shut up and be thankful." I said and closed the door behind us.
I helped him to his room which was upstairs. He sat down on his bed while I went to the bathroom and searched for the first aid kit. I feel bad going through somebody's cabinets and drawers but I had to.
