Hali was my best friend we had met right after I had moved to town. She lived a few houses down from me and came to introduce herself as soon as she saw me. I loved her instantly she was full of life and so welcoming. She was the first person I told when Michael proposed. She was the only one since my parents hadn't been my life since I was eighteen.

Hali couldn't wait to start planning the wedding and a party.

"We will have to have a girls night before you get hitched."

I wasn't really a party girl in fact it made me anxious just thinking about being around a lot of people at once. She insisted with that pouty look on her olive colored face. She was good at making those faces so that I would give into her. I thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world with big brown eyes, long dark red hair, and a tall slender body. All the guys would flock to her when we were out and she loved it. I always would wonder if Michael would when I introduced them but to my relief he didn't even stare.

The plans were made to go down to a local bar where Michael and I had met. It was the only place that I felt somewhat comfortable. The night had arrived and I wasn't really into it. Michael came over to keep me calm as I got ready. I decided on my little black sun dress and tall gladiator sandals. I pulled my hair up in a tight bun and threw on a little makeup then called it good. I didn't plan to stay long or make any new friends. I flopped down on the bed next to Michael. "I really hate this," I rest my head on the palms of my hands. He caressed my face looking at me with that sweet smile.

"It'll be fine just hang out for an couple of hours then make an excuse to leave. I'll stay over here tonight and wait for you."

"I guess I'll try to make the best of it. See you when I get home," I kissed him and he kissed me back soft then hard. I wanted to stay with him and I wish I had.

I heard Hali outside honking the horn like a maniac. We broke our embrace.

"See ya soon."

I walked out the front door to see this vision of beauty. She whistled at me giving me a wink.

"Hey beautiful," I rolled my eyes getting into her car.

"You're the hot one look at you. Out for some sweet love are ya?"

"Well, we will see where the night takes us."

Not to disappoint her but it was taking me back to Michael. With that we were off into the night.

When we arrived things had just gotten exciting as Hali would put it. People were heading in looking like models. We took a seat at a corner booth where we could see everyone. Hali could barley contain herself looking around seeing potential endeavors.

"So, What do you think? Should be a good night, huh?"

Her eyes sparkled. I tried to look more enthused but it just wasn't coming. She just looked at me and waved her hand when she saw some people she knew. The two girls came over to the table they were equally as pretty as Hali. She introduced me but they just looked over then began to talk to Hali about old times. As I looked around I noticed a man staring at our table I figured he was looking at the three beauties in front of me but as I stared back I could tell he was looking at me. It made me nervous so I looked away then back at him. Still he locked eyes with me. He looked to be around our age, tall, built, with blond hair and it looked like he hadn't shaved in a few days.

"Amy, hey are you there," I could hear Hali trying to get my attention.

"You're getting married remember."

The other girls had also turned to see what had caught my attention.

"Yum..good eye girl," the blonde had said looking over at him. I turned and could feel the heat come over me. My face was on fire and that was my cue to leave. Besides the man was making me nervous. He hadn't turned away when I noticed him it was just a cold hard stare the entire time. I sat uncomfortably for another half hour while the two other girl joined us. I took one last look over at the man which was still in the same position and that was all I could take. I gave Hali that look.."Really...You're leaving aren't you?"

I frowned..."Yes, I think it's time."

The other girls just looked up and made a half smile. Hali was upset but she understood and would have more fun with the other single girls.

"Take my car home."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah I'm gonna be to out of it to drive and I don't want it parked here all night. I'll pick it up tomorrow."

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow."

I took one last look to make sure the man was still in his seat. He had left I wasn't sure to feel relief or fear.

Did he notice that I was leaving also?

I'll cut down the alley and get to the car as fast as I can. I walked out the back and waved to the bouncer then headed down the dark alley. The air had become cooler and I could feel chills run down my bare back. I pulled out my phone to text Michael to let him know I was headed home. As I walked down the alley I could hear the faint sounds of footsteps behind me.

I turned to look...nothing.

I picked up my pace then the footsteps picked up too. Faster Amy just make it to the street lights. I could see them up ahead. The footsteps were getting closer.

I turned again still....nothing.

What is this?

I walked backwards to see if anyone would come out...nobody...I was so close I turned and there he was standing in front of me. I gasped at his stare. He grabbed my face and covered my mouth before I could scream. He then pushed me up against the cold brick wall. His body was pushed up close to mine. I could smell the alcohol on his breath and feel the sharp stubble of his facial hair on my shoulder. He rubbed up against my back then ran his hand up my thigh. I flinched and he pulled a knife then put it to my throat.

"Don't fight me," his voice was rough and cold.

"Please don't do this."

He pulled the knife down to my panties and cut them off. I knew what was about to happen but I couldn't put my mind around it. His breathing became heavy and labored. I could feel him getting excited with every touch. My dress went up and he unzipped his pants. No, this can't be happening.

Please someone come out..save me from this monster.

No one was there I could hear them inside laughing as the music played. Hali was just in that door but she would never hear me. I could feel him enter me and thrust his body. Tears ran down my face I tried to push him back but the knife dug into my throat. It felt like time slowed down and I felt vomit coming up to my mouth. He grabbed my chest in pleasure and I wanted him to die for doing this to me.

Please be over.

When he began to climax his grip became tight around my neck then he grabbed my hair pulling my bun out. It was over and he leaned on me catching his breath.

"I knew I would enjoy you."

All I wanted was for him to leave and I could go home to wash this disgusting moment away. It wasn't over yet. He pulled me off the wall and hit me across the face dropping me to my knees. My head was spinning and then my body was kicked over and over until I could feel the vomit turn into blood that puddled in my mouth. The brassy taste turned my stomach and the pain was overwhelming. I could feel my ribs crack and then my wrist broke as I held my hand out to protect my head. He was relentless and this wasn't just a rape but a murder. I went still to let him know I was out he had done his job. He finally stopped and stood over me. I kept still barely breathing then he ran. It was now over and I laid there dying.
