Teddy Lupin was raised by his grandmother Andromeda Tonks but, spent a lot of time with the Potters/Weasleys. His grandmother made sure to tell him of his parents without making them to be somebody that they weren't. He grew up well loved and cared for.
When Teddy was little he would carry around a stuff wolf that his godfather got for him. As he got older he took it to Hogwarts with him. Now it rest on his bed in the flat he owns.
