Train ride

It was cold and wet September first outside but, inside the Potter/Lupin house everything was in a mess. James Sirius Potter and Albus Severus Potter were still running around trying to pack all of their stuff. While Lily Luna ran around in tears. She hated the fact that she could not go to Hogwarts yet. Ginny called up the stairs. "Boys if you aren't down in five we are going to leave with out you" Ginny hollered up the stairs.

Lily was now hanging on to Ginny's leg. Ginny pried her off. Lily looked at her mum. "Why can't I go mum," said Lily in a whinny voice.

Harry chose that moment to walk in the room. "Harry, talk to your daughter or go get your sons now. Where have you been anyways? You aren't even ready. Go get dressed I will deal with it" said Ginny.

She swore it was like taking care of four kids although most days Harry wasn't that bad. "Sorry, Gin, I was talking with Teddy for a moment and lost track of time. I will get the boys" said Harry heading up the stairs.

"It is alright Harry and how is Teddy? I just want to get a move on it" said Ginny calling up to him.

"He is great" said Harry.

Teddy was now out of school and living on his own but, came to stay with them a few days a week. Soon they were done and out of the house. Meanwhile over the Bill and Fleur's house Victoire was pleading with her parents. "Mama, papa, we are old enough to take our self to the train station and I promise to look after Louis" said Victoire.

Bill gave his daughter a pointed look then turned to his wife. "I think what our daughter is saying, she is meeting Teddy and does not want us there. What she forget's is we will hear about it from other family members" said Bill chuckling.

Fleur smirk at Bill. "You are right dear" said Fleur.

Victoire stomped her foot. "Be as that may, we really do need to leave and as seeing as this is my last year I want to go without parents" Victoire replied.

It was best to own up to the truth than lie. Bill and Fleur shared one last look. It was close to eleven after all. "Fine just look out for them" said Bill with a sigh.

Victoire kissed both her parents on the cheek. Calling out to her siblings victiore said "Come on we get to go without parents. Love you both."

Dominique came running down the stairs with Louis close behind her. They both said "Sweet" while running out the door.

Victoire smiled at them as she ran after them. Hermione looked at her watch for what felt like the hundredth time. Her and Rose were ready to go. Rose had all her things packed the night before while Hugo was finishing up. "Hurry up" called in a bossy voice.

Hermione looked at her daughter. "Rose" said Hermione but stopped when her daughter gave her a look.

"It is what you do mum" said Rose with a smile on her face then.

Hermione smiled back as the boys came down. "I heard you Rose. To much like your mum" said Ron seriously.

They both beamed. "Well, let's get a move on it" said Hermione.

Percy was having the same problem Bill had. Molly was standing in front of him, hands on her hips. He was having a harder time though. Molly was a lot like his mother and it was hard to say no to her. "Molly I have to go" said Percy.

Molly gave her father the look. Percy frowned. Molly smiled. "Fine dad you have to go but, please let us leave before you" said Molly.

Lucy piped up. "Dad we will be fine and anyways I bet Uncle Bill won't be there."

Percy looked to his daughters. They were growing up too fast. "Fine you can go before me" said Percy giving in.

At least he would be there. Angelina and George were already out the door. They had made it to the train station. Fred couldn't wait to see James and wanted to get there early. "Behave you too" said Angelina.

Roxanne snickered. "Fred behave, yeah right. He will not" said Roxanne. "I am the one who behaves out of us too."

Angelina groaned. Her kids sometimes could drive her up the wall. "Mum, you know she helps" Fred said.

George smirked at both of them. He made sure Angelina was not looking. "Here is the latest pranks use them well" said George.

George only gave them so much then that was it. Angelina smiled at her kids. "You best get on" she said.

Fred and Roxanne hugged their parents then hopped on the train. They found seats. Once at the station Molly and Lucy quickly boarded the train. Percy looked at his daughters. "Sorry dad Lucy called out as they went to find friends.

Molly found her friends as Lucy went to sit with Fred and Roxanne. She knew they would already be on the train. "Hey" she said sliding open the door.

Fred and Roxanne smirked. "That was rather quick, Lucy" said Fred.

"Yea I thought your father would want to keep you to give you a long speech" said Roxanne teasing.

Lucy sat next to Roxanne. She would leave once James got here but, she loved sitting with them some. "Molly begged and pleaded. He craved a little as you can see" she said pointing out the window.

Right now some poor bloke was listening to Percy talk. He just kept nodding his head. James came in. "Hey Lucy, Fred, and Roxanne" he said in a sweet voice.

Lucy stood up. She knew that voice. "Hey James, that is my tune to leave. See you" said Lucy.

"Wait up," Roxanne said.

Lucy waited for Roxanne to come and they left together. Albus just board the train with Rose. Lucy waved to them as they passed. Rose nor Albus noticed them. "First years" they snickered together.

Albus and Rose walked down the hall. They walked into a compartment with a fellow first year. "Can we sit here?" Asked Albus.

Scorpius Malfoy looked at the two of them. He knew right away who they were but, did not say a word just nodded. "Thanks" said Rose.

Victoire was standing outside giving Teddy one last kiss before she got on. "I will miss you,Ted" she said.

Ted smiled at her as he moved her hair back. "As well I. I will see you at Christmas though" Ted replied.

Victoire boarded the train with tears in her eyes. She spent the ride in silence while her friends talked.
