Chapter 36: Normal and...
Saying that the park looked amazing was an understatement.
It looked epic.
Fairy lights hung from the trees and created a path towards a beautifully set out picnic, the sunset making everything look even prettier. Logan was standing there, dressed in a tuxedo and holding a single red rose. "You did all of this for me?" I ask as I come closer to him, the smile on my face never fading.
"Well, with the help of some friends." So that's what Sammy was meaning, she and Carlos paused their wedding planning to help Logan set up a romantic date with me. Wow, that's... weird. Their wedding has all Sammy has been able to think about, she so wants to be Mrs Pena.
"Thank you." I peck his lips. I had to admit, this was one of the most romantic dated I had ever been on with Logan, in general actually. We ate the food before lying down and star gazing.
"You know, the beauty of the stars is nothing compared to you." Logan whispers in my ear. I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks. Even after being with Logan for this long, he still had this affect on me. I kiss his cheek.
"How did I get so lucky?" I sigh in content.
"We've spent a lot of time at this park, created some great memories. Like our first date was spent here." He says.
"Good times." I giggle, remembering that day, it seemed so long ago.
"I want to make some more memories here." He sits up and so do I.
"Melody. I know that we have had our ups and downs, yet through all of that we have managed to make it through, together. I know that our love is real and will last forever. I want to be with you forever." Logan gets on one knee and I could already feel the happy tears forming. "I love you so much Melody, so so much. Will you please do me the honour of marrying me?" He takes a small velvet box out of his pocket and opens it, revealing the most beautiful ring.
"Yes." Was all I could say as I was too happy to speak. I throw myself into Logan's arms kissing him passionately. He slips the ring onto my finger and I couldn't stop smiling.
I was going to marry my once celebrity crush.
