I slowly opened my eyes to see a naked Niklaus, peacefully sleeping. I gently scooted closer to him, wrapping my arm around his waist.
"Rose" His morning voice only turned me on even more than I was at the sight at him laying next to me naked.
"Hm" I moaned into his chest while he gently rubbed my back. I lifted up my head slowly, looking at him through my lashes.
"What time is it Nik?" I asked him, going to stand up but he pulled me back down, making me fall on top of him.
"Around noon, love" My eyes went wide as I reached out to grab the alarm clock. It was almost one o'clock.
"I promised Rebekah and Elijah I would had lunch with them when I came to New Orleans" I tried to get out of the bed but Nik tightened his grip on my waist.
"Niklaus" I pouted, trying to loosen his grip. Klaus only laid there laughing at my struggles.
"They can wait, today is our day. I promised you a day with just the two of us yesterday, and I intend to keep that promise"
"Alright, let me text Rebekah that I can't have lunch with her and Elijah" Klaus finally let me get up. I walked around the room naked, trying to find my jeans that had my phone in it.
I quickly sent the text and turned around, to see that Nik wasn't in the room anymore.
Instead his place was replaced by a small note and a single rose.
" Dear Rose, I hope you enjoy this little hunt, it does involve flowers and gardens I swear. Now, go to your room and open the box. Hope you enjoy it, love Niklaus "
I grabbed a robe from Klaus's bathroom before walking back into my room, seeing a small box lays on my bed.
I opened the box and pulled out a gorgeous black laced dress. At the very bottom of the box there was another note.
" Dear Rose, I had Rebekah help me out with this dress a while ago. I hope you like it, you deserve this dress. But this isn't all that you'll be receiving on this hunt. Go to the kitchen and open the fridge "
I quickly got draws before speeding downstairs.
After a few hours of the hunt, Niklaus ended up giving me a beautiful dress with matching heels, some new jewelry, and a ton of flowers, mostly roses.
There was only one note left for me to find, which Rebekah told me to look in the bathroom in my bedroom.
" Dear Rose, You have successfully found all the notes in this hunt, and aren't going to leave me standing here alone looking like a complete fool. Look behind the vase of roses, put that on along with everything I gave you and meet me at the garden at 10 "
I pulled the vase to the side a little to see a tiny red box, as I opened the box I felt my eyes began to get watery.
In the box was a beautiful engagement ring, similar to the one he gave me the first time we were engaged.
