Behind Closed Doors

chapter 2:

About a month after mom started seeing Jerry he would spend the night allot like every weekend and 2 or 3 times out of a week. Ovcorse his daughters would come over as well and stay in our rooms Yecenia would stay in my room and Kathy stayed in Janet's room. Since his daughters stayed over allot I noticed a few thing on their body's like scratches and bruises the size of a base ball.

They moved about slowly and awkwardly. After about 3 months of this the girls started to get a little more comfortable. They qoupd talk very slow and stuttered allot.

My mom did talk about asking Jerry to move in. I was happy because I liked him but Janet and Melissa didn't like the idea. I think its because they thought mom was moving on to fast. I personally thought 2 years was fine but my sisters didn't.

They day after Jerry came over and we all went out for breakfast, his daughter's only had 3 chicken nuggets each and that's it, even though we all had a big meal. That day the girls didn't eat any thing else; well that I know of.

I told my sisters about all of this and they said they have seen the marks, scratches, and brusies but didn't want to get a head of themselves. We planed on telling mom but she really liked Jerry and we thought that the brusies and things were just something else and they had a reasonable explanation behind it.
