In one of the chapters in this book (story time), I mentioned that I only had two happy memories from 4th grade. I decide to share one of them with you, because it was the highlight of my life. I don't really know why though.

This might be long, so get ready.....

In my fourth grade elementary school, we had something called A.R. points. If you finished reading a book, you could go on the computer and take a test on the book. The better your score, the more A.R. points you would get.

There was a contest, and the rules were that you had to reach a certain number of points (80 for 4th grade) to get your name put in a drawing. If you won, you would go to the Florida zoo and Botanical gardens. Overnight.

Three people would go from each grade level, the person with the highest number of A.R. points in the entire grade, and the two names drawn from the list of people that met the goal.

I reached the goal, put my name in, and wait for a while before they announced who got to go.

One day, I walk into class, completly forgetting all about the drawing, and they pull names. I won!

The day of the trip I was nervous because my grandparents got in really bad traffic, so I thought we wouldn't make it, but we did.

First, everyone just hung out and talked. Then we went on a night safari.

We split up in two groups that took a tour of the zoo, and we saw nocturnal animals, even bats (Zoobats. Anyone who plays Pokemon Go gets it. 😂).

Then we went back in the room for a snack. Literally the only things I remember where the cookies, popcorn, and pretzels because I have sold my soul to junk food.

We went to sleep, woke up, and got cereal and other stuff, then we were free to spend the rest of the day at the zoo, or just go home. I stayed with my grandparents and sisters, and we had an amazing time.

If you're still still reading this, then a round of applause to you, I got bored just by typing this. 👏👏👏👏

Oh yeah, for everyone who just loves bugs, I slept in a room with a fake tree, and there were Ants, Grasshoppers, and Tarantulas behind glass cases. You're welcome.

Does anyone care about this anyway? Probably not. Am I insane for asking myself questions I already know the answer to? Probably. Should people do the things that I do (stupid things) and listen to me? Probably not. Where these questions asked for no good reason? Yes.
