Elphaba's POV

"Did you get caught?" I asked Fiyero when we got into class.

"Yes, actually," he said.

"Oh Oz, Fiyero, I knew you shouldn't have walked me back. I knew this was going to happen I-"

He cut me off by kissing me and I felt all the students look at us and I felt myself blush. He slowly pulled back after a while and smiled, "Don't worry about it."

After History class, I had break but Fiyero had another class so I kissed him bye and started to walk back to my dorm to rest. Halfway to my dorm, I saw my sister, Nessarose, talking to someone.

I didn't know father was visiting today, I thought to myself.

I kept walking until I overheard the word 'boyfriend' coming from my sister. She's not talking about me, is she? I quickly headed back to my dorm before my father saw me.

Nessa's POV

"She's with her boyfriend," I told my father after he asked where my sister, Elphaba, was.

"Y-you're sister has a boyfriend?" He asked.

"Yeah, they met the night of the dance three months ago," I answered.

"Nessie, sweetheart, where's your sister's dorm," he asked.

"I... I don't know," I lied, "but I should be getting to class now, father." I start wheeling myself away in my wheelchair.

"Alright, Ness, I love you," he says walking in the other direction.

Elphaba's POV

I finally got to my dorm fifteen minutes later. Galinda was at one of her classes so I was alone so I decided to lay down in bed and read.

Within an hour there was a loud banging at the door. Immediately I knew it was my father. Sighing, I got up and answered the door.

"Where is he?" My father asked barging in.

"Where's who?" I asked.

"Your boyfriend," he answered.

"I don't have a boyfriend," I lied but I knew he wouldn't believe me since I blushed.

"Don't you dare fucking lie to me, Elphaba. Where is he?"

"Why does it matter?!" I asked raising my voice. Great, I'm in for it now.

"Elphaba!" He said in a threatening tone.

"He's in class!" I finally answered. "Now if you don't mind, I have to get to class too." Grabbing my bag, I started walking out the door.

"Don't you dare walk away from me, young lady," he growled chasing after me.

Quickly turning into the next hallway, I saw Fiyero walk towards me. "Fae!" He said smiling. He walked toward me and took my hand, "I was just about to come pick you up for class."

"That's sweet," I smiled, "but now I'm here so let's go." I started walking away with his hand in mine but he pulled me back.

"Wait," he pulled me into a kiss. Unable to resist the urge, I kissed back.

Suddenly, "ELPHABA!!!"

Busted.

I pulled away from the kiss and turned my head slowly to see my father. "Father, I can explain-"

"You look familiar," my father said pointing at Fiyero. "You're that selfish, spoiled Vinkun prince who can't even stay at one school for a single semester."

"Don't talk to him like that!" I shouted standing up for my boyfriend.

"Excuse me?" He asked.

"He's not selfish, he's sweet and he cares about me. He may have been spoiled-"

"Hey!" Fiyero whined.

I looked at him, "Yero, I'm trying to make a point. Anyway," I looked back at my father, "he may have been spoiled but I love him!"

"What did you say?" My father asked as he looked straight into my eyes.

"I said, I love him... and he loves me too."

He snickered, "You think he loves you? He doesn't... he's using you for what I can only assume your brain. He's trying to get good grades from you so he can stay in this school!"

I step back. Fiyero grabs my hand again. "Don't believe it, Elphaba," he says looking into my eyes. "I love you and you know it"

"You're coming home with me right now," my father said grabbing my arm. "I will sign you out of this school and I'll hire someone to look after your sister."

"No!" I shouted trying to pull away.

"Don't use that tone with me!" He yelled throwing me into a wall.

"That's enough!" Fiyero spoke up.

"You think you can tell me what to do?" My father laughed. "I'm the governor and you're nothing more than a sorry excuse for a prince!"

"At least I treat your daughter better than you do," Fiyero replied.

"Yero," I began.

"No," he interrupted pushing me behind him in a protective way still looking at my father, "I'm serious. I have treated Elphaba with nothing but love and respect. How have you treated her? Like a piece of shit, I'm sure."

"No one talks to me like that," my father growled.

"Obviously, someone should," Fiyero replied then takes my hand. "Come on, Fae, let's get to class." He pulled me along with him walking us out of the dormitory.

"I... I wanted to thank you for stepping up for me with my father," I said as Fiyero and I were walking to class. "No one's ever done that before."

He smiled and leaned in to kiss me, "I love you."

I opened my mouth to say something but couldn't so I just smiled.
